Confirmed: V Plame was working on Iran nukes when outed

And exposing her (and every other CIA agent using the same company as cover) cost us valuable intel about Iran.

Maybe having less -- rather than more -- information on Iran's nuclear progress was useful for the administration.

Another compelling and well-documented argument from lendaddy.

Some things are so predictable.

I don't think the conditioned public would blink an eye at anything else the admin did.

Like death and taxes

But seriously, the BS meter on that article is off the charts. It mentions her previous status in the agency as if it were her status when outted for one thing.

Valerie Plame was actively working, perpetuating a lie, in order to damage a sitting President during wartime. This is treason. If this was WWII she and her husband would be getting the Rosenberg treatment, deservedly so.

Dose, I hardly expect our friends in the CIA will support your attitude when their lives are jeapordized for political puposes.

All the neo-cons that whine about supporting the troops are quiet as crickets when it comes to these brave "soldiers."

I'm not sure we are going to know her actual status when outed until transcripts of the upcoming cases Fitzgerald is filing are released, and even then, you can expect the key parts to be redacted.

So you choose to think of Plame as insignificant at the time of her outing and I do not. Fine. We can't independently confirm either view. Are you concerned about anyone else who was using Brewster Jennings as a cover?

neo-con hypocrites would've screamed treason if Clinton outed an agent. I still only hear crickets.

That's actually a good point and yes I am concerned. I have not however seen evidence that the loss (assuming it was a current asset) cost the agency anthing. Even if it was and did, it appears the outting of Plame was anything more than a mistake/misunderstanding.

I think if revenge were the motive a million more effective approaches immediately come to mind.

First of all Bush didn't out anyone, but yes if Clinton had outted an agent I would indeed assume the worst of him as he had proven himself to be a shameless liar and opportunist concerned only with himself.

Bush has shown me nothing but a steady and honest approach to his governing. Granted I disagree with him often, but the man is honest.

From the time of the first campaign, when a tech analysis revealed Bush told 54 lies in one debate until now, I have not heard any indication of honesty, and certainly the results of his presidency bear that out.

Impossible. No politician that rises to the national level can be honest. They are all POSs with an agenda designed to pay back whoever helped them get there.

Actually, the company was a client of mine, and it's a voice stress analysis program widely used in industry, so yes, I do believe that Bush lied in the debates.

900 illegally obtained FBI files Clinton?...please...The Clinton Administration presided over the greatest theft of military and weapon secrets in American history, not to mention selling what was left for campaign cash.

Why would a President do the killing? that is what minions and hired hit men are for.

Hillary: "Guido, I am really afraid Vince Foster is going to be a problem if he is investigated...I sometimes wish he didn't even exist."

Guido nods knowingly and exits.

Was one of those illegally obtained FBI files, Fitz's?...Pretty sure they had Starr's and the Republicans that made sure impeachment was DOA in the Senate.
