Need Some New Sunglasses

But I don't want to pay out the asss prices like those charged for Oakleys. I will either lose or break them so like to keep it down to less than $50. Any suggestions?

Campmor had Kaenon for $59.00 they work excellent on the boat

There's a kiosk in my local mall... $20. Many are polarized as well, which is nice for me (fishing, etc).

Sams has Carrera sunglasses too - although I scratched them after a year...

My philosophy is I have only one pair of eyes, so putting the best quality lens in front of them is an imperative. On that note, I've never lost a pair either. I have Revo's and Oakley blades. I'm in the market for another pair as well...

Serengeti are very nice as well. You can find them on the 'net for descent prices...

Go to West Marine, and look at their polarized sunglasses for boating. I picked a really nice pair last year for about 40 bucks. I used to buy Oakleys, but got tired of them not lasting as long as the price would suggest.

I used to buy mine at the liquor store, but have moved up to the cheapo rack at the local sporting goods store, or this place that has alot of good deals on closeouts, www.sierratradingpost.com

Kurt,

If you're inclined, send me $10 and I'll ship to you the alloy-framed Oakly glasses in the lower right corner of this pic.
I don't like the way they fit my head...wore them just a few times.
Sorry, no soft bag or case.
PM your address if you want them.

Go retro with orginal US Air Force pilot glasses - http://www.opticsplanet.net/ao-original-pilot.html - pick your frame size, frame color, lens color, etc...

I have worn glasses since high school and always had clip ons. I dediced to get the transisiton lenses this past year, and it was the best purchase I have made. No more looking for my damn clipons or having to switch to my prescription sunglasses.

Aurel's idea is good. Also, I recently bought a pair of polarized sunglasses with black plastic frames at Costco. They came with a case and three sets of lenses (gray, amber, & semi clear) for the huge price of $25. I asked the clerk why they were so much cheaper & she said because they weren't one of the 'hot' brands. I really like them. May buy another pair for when these wear out.
