Need Some New Sunglasses

But I don't want to pay out the asss prices like those charged for Oakleys. I will either lose or break them so like to keep it down to less than $50. Any suggestions?

There's a kiosk in my local mall... $20. Many are polarized as well, which is nice for me (fishing, etc).

My philosophy is I have only one pair of eyes, so putting the best quality lens in front of them is an imperative. On that note, I've never lost a pair either. I have Revo's and Oakley blades. I'm in the market for another pair as well...

Go to West Marine, and look at their polarized sunglasses for boating. I picked a really nice pair last year for about 40 bucks. I used to buy Oakleys, but got tired of them not lasting as long as the price would suggest.

Kurt,

If you're inclined, send me $10 and I'll ship to you the alloy-framed Oakly glasses in the lower right corner of this pic.
I don't like the way they fit my head...wore them just a few times.
Sorry, no soft bag or case.
PM your address if you want them.
.

.
Top row: Porsche Carrera (2 pairs), Serengeti
Bot. row: Ray Ban, Bolle, Oakley (2 pair...I rarely wear these)
.
Edit: That's an old pic from a R1100S Pelican forum thread about glasses 'n ear plugs.

I have worn glasses since high school and always had clip ons. I dediced to get the transisiton lenses this past year, and it was the best purchase I have made. No more looking for my damn clipons or having to switch to my prescription sunglasses.

Aurel's idea is good. Also, I recently bought a pair of polarized sunglasses with black plastic frames at Costco. They came with a case and three sets of lenses (gray, amber, & semi clear) for the huge price of $25. I asked the clerk why they were so much cheaper & she said because they weren't one of the 'hot' brands. I really like them. May buy another pair for when these wear out.
