Same result here, just says I need more disk space, not a big deal since it's only low because I have backups of several systems temporarily parked here.

And that's my office system, home systems are going to be no issue either. Didn't really expect any issues though.

My POS DEll is ready for their next POS OS, but I will have kicked it to the curb by then, running a new MacMini.

They have not fully debugged XP yet, so it must be time for a new POS OS! Service pack 2 is terrible and have installed/uninstalled it twice on two machines because it slowed everything down.

Still running W2000 on my server because its good, debugged and stable. Plan on formatting the hard drive on this laptop when I get home and going back to W2000.

You can put windows (any flavor) on my machine when you pry my Debian netinstall floppy (or cd image) from my cold dead hands....

I've been running XP on my home machine since it came out, I've got SP2, I've never reinstalled, I don't defrag, I install and uninstall tons of crap, and the PC still runs great. I could probably get some speed back by doing a fresh reinstall, but I've got so much crap on the thing that the thought of having to get it back to it's current state makes me shiver.

Precisely my thoughts.

What exactly does this new operating system do that my current one can't?

Let's see. . . history. . . pattern:

1. Release date MM/DD/YY
2. "We're not going to make the release date"
3. New release date
4. Push out incomplete/buggy product to meet arbitrary release date #2
5. Bugs.
6. Security holes.
7. Blue screens.
8. Loss of private information.
9. Frustration.
10. Loss of time/productivity.

Yep. And you get to pay for it. A lot.

No thanks. I'll wait a couple years and then pirate it to tinker or just keep on using Linux.
