I'm not sure who the dumb ass is here, but please refer to .this article from the AP. It appears that Bakr is estranged from Osama

The article proves nothing. I am not saying how close Osama was connected, that is not my point. My point is that Carter is dirty with Bin Laden money and Michael Moore is a hypocrite for slandering Bush while pal-ing up with Carter.

Interestingly this follows the pattern of many Bush/war critics...It seems that a great majority of the most vocal or high profile opponents were either connected to Bin Laden, connected to Saddam's oil, or simply want to regain power by slandering Bush.

Well...provided how intertwined the U.S. has been with Saudi Arabia in regard to oil, I'd think as many fingers could be pointed at Reps as Dems.

But just to add some spice: during Reagan's time, wasn't that administration supportive of Iraq?

Why would anyone even bother engaging Nul on this topic, or on any other topic that can be divided into "us" and "them?" He's going to ignore inconvenient facts, distort those facts he can't ignore, and come to the same conclusion EVERY TIME.

His side is good and right and honest. Yours is bad and wrong and traitorous.

Wouldn't it be more fruitful to go play in traffic?

Damned if you do, damned if you don't...Why is America relationship with Saudi Arabia relevant?...Lets not play the moral relativism game, Carter got big money from the Bin Laden family and this is unprecedented, excepting Clinton who got big money from Dubai and the Chinese Military.

So what's your point? If Carter received nothing, we wouldn't have had a 9/11 or an ill-founded war?

Hmmm...seems like not only are you grasping at straws, you also picked the shortest one.

You mean "well-founded" war...From humanitarian reasons (think Serbia only greater), violations of UN resolutions, WMD and connections to al qaeda...Well-founded and brilliantly executed, in fact only in a fantasy world could it have gone better.

Carter may have helped create modern day Iran. I doubt he had an effect on 9-11 (unless you could somehow link the rise of the Ayatollah to modern terrorism, which you can I suppose).

Really?...Through a historical survey one could only conclude that Iraq and the war-on-terror have been brilliant...The fantasy world is a figment of the hate-filled Democrat party and other scumsucking socialists world wide. They [Democrats and the biased MSM] desperately desire our failure and they are doing all they can, from at least a propaganda standpoint, to destroy our efforts in Iraq and the ME...I wouldn't be surprised if Democrats or their friends weren't over in Iraq directing the terrorists and running their media campaign.

1st graph: two days ago, how many Iraqis die in random bombings? What CBS journalist was nearly killed? Why have 1500 more soldiers called into supress a by-late uprising (Basra, I think)?

2nd grap: I actually agree with you here.

Well founded? It was founded on the existence of WMD's, which never existed. How is that well founded? It was in Bush's fantasy world that these WMD's existed.
