Three Detainees commit suicide in the Gitmo Gulag

The US government run concentration camp at Gitmo, a part of the huge, and growing, Gulag of US Government centers in eastern europe (in formed communist countries, for torture) is producing of expented results.

These men - along with others - were held, indefinitely, in cages for many, many months, without a trial to determine whether they were guilty of any crimes. Where is there any "respect" - of "utmost" or lesser dimensions - in that? What does such behavior tell us about the depths of indecency to which this country has sunk? It is open to debate whether this system will collapse of its own dead weight before men and women decide to pull the plug on it. In either event, it is sad to see the soul of a once-humane people deteriorating so quickly, and with such popular indifference.

Wonder if there is a way we can make them die slower? After all, cutting their heads off like their fellow terrorists did is so fast...

OPSEC you know... If you were in a "need to know" then you would know wouldnt you?

They sure arent Girl Scout's so do you think that they got caught parking illegally in Kabul and Baghdad? That C4 stuff kinda gives you away at times...

No, Joe, I'll tell you why you, nor I, know anything about these victims. That's because they've not been charged with any crime, nor has the US government presented any evidence against them in a court of law. No evidence means that they're innocent.

Joe, we must demand a lawful government.

In it's usual denial, the US government has the timerity to claim the suicides were a publicity stunt. The little fuhrer in the White House has no morals, and probably never did.

He did and that's the mentality we're dealing with. Give them no quarter. They have no respect for anything and cannot be reasoned with or deterred. Kill them all. I say go after their families too.

The notion that America is at risk for extinction by the hand of Al Queda is one of the craziest that's come along in a long time, but it is an idea that has granted the Bush'ist cult a huge amount of power.

It's clear in this thread that most have no idea how these detainees got to Gitmo nor how few actually turned out to be an "enemy."

It's also clear that some here think they are all less than human and their guilt or innocence is irrelevant.

And it's probably not productive to try and educate them. (see pig + sing)

Yeah but then what else would you liberals do with your time? You certainly wouldn't want to go out and make America a better place. It's far more convenient to sit back with an iced latte and complain about it.

Yep, they are mostly Innocent villagers falsely fingered by their neighbors for reward money. Actually all of them are innocent.....wait, more than all of them!

We would let them go, but torturing is soooo much fun. I mean how often do you get the chance to waterboard innocent folk? You gotta jump on those opportunities.

I only know what I read, but from what I've read about these three, two were al Qaeda and one was with the Taliban. Good riddance. I hope they died slowly and we bury them in pig fat.
