Could you pass a Canadian citizenship test?

After seeing Rick Lee's excellent US Citizenship test post, thought I'd throw down the gauntlet to see how you folks south of the border would do on your knowledge of your northern neighbor.

Go to this link and choose 20 questions (same number as in Rick's test). Post your answers. Be honest.

http://www.yourlibrary.ca/citizenship/

BTW I got 85% on the US test... can you beat that on the Canada test?

* disclaimer: Canucks taking this test must do so under the influence of at least 2 beers or results will be inconclusive.

edit: forgot the link, thx Eldorado. Must have been the 2 beers.

You only have 31 million people up there? You guys need to get busy and start making more Canucks. Cue the Barry White record....

Some those questions where weird - one answer said to poor bottles if antifreeze down the drain, leave your lights on at night, and take long showers.

Weird...

WOOHOO!! Perfect score! A true hoser!! And that's with no Timmy's this morning, 3 beers (Canadian, not American) AND I got hit by a moose yesterday!!!

I love this one:
Which three legal rights are protected by the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms?
a. Freedom of speech, right to not pay taxes, and right to a fair trial.
Yeah, right! In fact, I'll bet there's a lobby in Ottawa right now to enshrine in our constitution the right and duty to pay 16 different forms of taxes.

For the record, I got 70% on the US test.

legion, you want to because you don't pay enough taxes in the US. You know, it feels great to know you're propping up the gov't from Jan. 1 to sometime in mid-June. After that, I get to keep my paycheques.

40%. Admittedly nothing short of pure, unadulterated, blind-ass luck. What the test really served to point out for me was just how little Canadian news makes it south of the border, and how little Canadian history is taught down here.

Perfect score too! But I have to admit that I have been drinking both Stella Artois and Corona beer lately (ok, this morning), so I don't qualify as a true hoser. Take off, eh!

Chris, any news on the impending little one? Are you really going to name him Ferry? You better not get him snipped then!

I should have done better as i follow hockey and Canadian politics with keen interest.

The history did me in.

I missed where the majority of Canadians live, and the Governor General (never had heard of that person).

Frankly, I must have guessed very well, or Canadian history is buried deep in my sub-conscious.

Cool test. I'm going up to Wolfe Island and Kingston after July 4th, so I'll spring some of my Canadian expertise on friends up there (who frequently seem a little hurt that the US doesn't pay nearly as much attention to Canada as Canada pays the US).

70%. Not bad for someone who's never been to Canada. In fact, I think Geddy Lee and Alex Lifeson are the only Canadians I've ever even met.
