Yes, I'm splitting hairs (pun intended) but I'm at work and grumpy!

We burned lots of cow, pig, fish and chicken on the grill. The girls tried grilling veggies and fruit (some worked, most did not) and medium quanities of adult beverages were consumed.

Then we had a very nice 30 minute display of fireworks from a massive hotel 3 miles away, then crashed in the sack.

A very good Independence Day!

OK had to share this cause it was so cool... went out on the boat with the family - I like the boat because it's a great family activity. Anyway - we are collecting some bait and along comes this dolphin - right up to the boat - I've never experienced anything like it - and I have been boating in this area for about 15 years.

Here he is - I see you...

We had friends/family over and had 18 kids in the pool at one time. I never had to raise my voice, the kids were well-behaved and all had a very good time! Nice 4th of July here! Good food/beer and best of all great folks to share the day with!

Drank some margaritas and then experimented throwing short-fused firecrackers. Distance traveled from hand to detonation varied between zero (ouch) to three feet.
