I'll be on a plane for a business meeting I have on the 5th in Atlanta-

But, my hotel room looks over Olympic Park where the fireworks are being held. Good view at least.

Driving back from Indianapolis, with half or more of my hearing gone from the F1 race and NIN concert. Should be home in time for a couple of cold ones and some grilled meat.

Started by getting the boat out on the bay today - then we'll do some fishing - maybe hang at the "sand bar" drink some beer - go watch the fireworks from the water (weather permitting) - some grilling - family time - good stuff.

Guess I'll grill something for breakfast and drink Bloody Mary's with my wife before my flight, and wake my neighbors with a few bottle rockets. Yeah, that works!

Illegal where I am due to the fire situation.

Just returned from the mid-west where I brought back a load of smoked ribs and brisket. Have a load of friends coming over to assist in turning the ribs into a pile of bones!

Combine that with a margarita by the pool and good cigar, life could be worse!

Am in NYC. Will take an umbrella to Rock Plaza, and watch the Macy's fireworks show this evening.

I just got up and I'm reading the boards while she does her makeup.

We are going to her moms for some bbq, then to a friend's for more bbq, and to blow some fireworks.

I think it was Thomas Jefferson that said the 4th shall be celebrated with Fireworks. He had some good ideas.

Rented a cabin on the water and a ski boat for the week on Lake Coeur d'Alene Idaho. I'm not much for powerboats, but it's a beautiful setting and all are having a great time. Happy 4th!

We've got the pulled pork going on the grill as I speak. Macaroni salad with shrimp in it. For dessert its fresh peach tiramisu. The smell from the grill is driving me nuts. San Jose puts on a really nice fireworks show and we can see it quite well from our house.

Us bike riders have hats like that. They pack flat and work when space is minimal.

You do not like them, we can have our cousin Guido come over for a visit!
