I have to leave negative feedback for eBay. Suggestions needed to make a good one.
I'll make this brief. I sold an item to someone on eBay. They placed a last minute bid and won. I sent them 2-3 invoices and nothing. The finally said they would paypal the money at a date. No money sent. More email and another date given for sending payment. None sent. So after 17 days, I relist the item, give the buyer a non paying bidder strike and wait to decide what feedback I will leave. This seller is a master of the retailtory negative feedback and I realize that I will get a negative feedback even though mine is 100% and the buyer did actually nothing to purchase the item.
Now the buyer is concerned over the non paying bidder strike and is pressuring me into dropping it (which I won't). I'm just looking for some real zingers to leave for their negative feedback. Anyone come accross any that are memorable. Here is the eBay ID. Notice the numerous "mutually withdrawn" feedbacks. All retaliation I suppose. I have thought about leaving it right at the end of 90 days, but this idiot isn't that stupid. I think. |

Looks like a history of bad pay. In spite of other good pay transactions.
Can you salvage the deal? Might be easier than what is coming.

Your first paragraph is a great reply if you decide to go that route...honest and to the point. No zinger required.

sell your feedback line in another auction... explain the situation, then send a link to her to the auction. It'll probably get more laughs & interest than the negative feedback, which she'd retaliate for anyway.

Ebay feedback system sucks.
I left my 1st neg on a horrible seller, after waiting almost 3 months for the item to arrive, which was not as described. He promptly left one for me, since he had a policy of not leaving feedback until the other side did. My rating went from 100% positive to 96% or something like that. He went from 98.6% positive to .... 98.6% positive. No impact on him, a big hit on me. He's a powerseller who leaves negatives on EVERY PERSON who leaves him a negative. No exceptions out of thousands of transactions. Ebay would do nothing.

Gotta keep it short.
How about "non paying rip off artist, run forest, run!" I like this feedback the lowlife got: Still no PMT after multiple invoices, after Sq Trade, after UID w/. eBay. Seller dmmoy( 763) Reply by baddragonlady: Sorry folks but was out in Asia; even sent seller 2-4 quick, clear Emails. Follow-up by dmmoy: just pay the darn tab & quit whining - too much time w/. POTTY MOUTH emails Baddragonlady used the same excuse SIX times, "sorry was stuck in Asia". If this idiot is going out of the country and can't follow e-bay bids or won auctions, why is this person bidding? Moron. |

Here are some example of the idiot I'm dealing with from the email she is sending me:
GREETINGS: There's that NPB strike you left on our account, and the feedback thing is still open. We sent you money to reimburse the FVF but you refunded it. How do you want to handle this then, as we'd like to get your strike off our record. Pls. let me know soon as you get a good moment, ok? Thanx, Claire//Baddragonlady// GREETINGS 911BMWFAN: You've got this unpaid item thing on us even though it was you who changed mind and relisted this radio set. We even courteously sent you $5 for the listing fee. After reading your 3 previous emails to us, since this strike is unjust and we're stuck w/ it for now, and since the feedback time limit runs out soon: basically if you refuse to be fair and help us get this mark removed from our account, this week by Thursday, we will give a feedback comment and rating we feel you deserve, fair enough? Sgd. //BADDRAGONLADY// DEAR 911BMWFAN: I'm sure you will. We can do it that 2nd way too. Within ebay trading guidelines: [1]we communicated right away our intentions to pay 4 days after the 10 day period. [2]we offered to add a fair $5. late fee. [3] you confirmed this was all ok w/ an email reply. YOU jumped the gun. Why should we accept even neutral feeback since it was not us who welched on the deal [and got a 2nd lower price from your choice]. This strike will be removed when we send copies of your emails, including the one admitting you relisted cause you thought you were 'getting scammed'. So what are you punishing us for? your screw-up? I'm not a mean gal, but if you want to stay nasty and mess-up your 100% in order to pass the blame, fine. If you do remove the strike, we can end things cordially now, since I dislike giving [-] anything out to anybody. Be nice. Let us know what you want to do, ok? //BADDRAGONLADY// Whatever. Lets do this: if that strike of yours is still on our account by 4Sep06, then you'll get your feedback rating from me. If you make it better b4 that then no bad blood. Clear enough? I won't stand being pushed around by some mean person who fusses about less than $100 because he's trading-skills challenged //BADDRAGONLADY// These are what I left for her: Leave me positive feedback and I'll remove your unpaid strike and at best I'll leave you a neutral. Otherwise do not continue to contact me. If you leave me negative feedback on an auction that you repeatedly failed to pay for within the obligatory time, I will leave the negative feedback along with keeping your unpaid strike. I've taken the higher road by not leaving any feedback. Receiving negative feedback from a member who has a long history of retailiation feedback and mutual withdrawals will not effect me. To refresh your memory, I have also saved all communication: The Auction ended June 25th in which I immediately sent out an invoice. You did not respond until June 28th with this email: ----- Original Message ----- From: mherock To: dragondaddy@earthlink.net Sent: Wednesday, June 28, 2006 7:49 PM Subject: BLAUPUNKT BERLIN 8000 RADIO PORSCHE, FERRARI, MASERATI - Item 8075020020 Hello, I am ready to ship this item and would like to know what means of payment you are making and what delivery type you require. Please be aware that payment invoices have been generated and are requiring actions from you, the auction winner, to complete the transaction. GREETINGS: We'll have to paypal you right after the 4TH/July, when we get back from Asia. We could pay a couple $ addl. if that would make you happier, ok? BEST REGARDS, CLAIRE//BADDRAGONLADY// Guess what, That date came and went with no payment or reply. You did finally respond about paying at a later date: GREETINGS 911BMWFAN: Perhaps you have'nt been [to the Philippines] and sent out fr. here personal info over the I/net. This is where many 'iloveyou' etc. trojan worm harvester viruses originate. Anyways, coming back to CA/USA WE12JUL so if you would be kind enough to wait few more days, we'll paypal you as we mentioned previously +$5.-, ok? REGARDS, CLAIRE//BADDRAGONLADY Thank You. This date came and went and still no payment and my Paypal account can prove this. I still waited this 17 days (eBay asked for 10 days) before relisting and asking for my listing fee to be removed. Your nonpaying bidder strike was also given after this. Jumping the gun, right? What exact proof are you going to show eBay? Your time to do this was when the nonpaying bidder dispute was under investigation anyway and the case is close. The only way it can be removed is by me. Thank you, eBay |

I agree. I recieved negative feedback as retaliation from an obvious scumbag...in fact his account was revoked a month or so after many more negatives. So here I am with an undeserved black mark and a loser who was kicked off the system. Hmm, think Ebay should allow those damaged by this fraud to recoup there online integrity? I do. Anyway, in other threads some have suggested waiting till the last moment to leave feedback (90 days?). Then the opportunity for them to react disappears.

I have one negative feedback:
"Jake would not honor his bid after I quoted shipping to CANADA!" Bonehead had listed it as "free Shipping to North America", but didn't think that included Canada. Nice. I say leave her the feedback she deserves, if for nothing else than to warn others. That's what it's there for, right?

Wait as close to 90 days after the auction close as possible before leaving it - then you can't be "retaliated" against (there's a 90-day limit).
I friggin' hate Ebay. Use Craigslist - way easier.

The previous bad feedback doesn't help a seller when they snipe 6 seconds before the item closes.
This lady is obviously living in a world that revolves around her version of things. U R screwed. Leave as nasty as possible late on 90th day.

Of all things, eBay is trivial. I was actually selling a BlauPunkt Radio for a friend out of his Turbo 911 to help make him some money for the project. The last bidder before this idiot sniped it was at $260. Then she pulls a MIA and I offer the next highest bidder a 2nd Chance. He runs away scared because of all the scams. I relist it and it sell for $160, I lose $100 for the guy who I originally told it sold for $260. I don't care about the feedback, Its just the principle that bugs me.
