The fact is this is the U.S. military vs. a bandit who hides out in caves. Think about it and tell me (with a straight face) we are not holding back from capturing OBL.

Clinton gave the CIA orders to destroy al Qaeda in '95, and gave explicit orders to kill OBL in '98. The CIA failed at both. For whatever reason, Bush decided to use military means. That has so far failed.

But consider that Eric Rudolph evaded capture for 5 years -- partly due to the assistance of true believers who protected him -- in a small corner of North Carolina. A determined man, surrounded by friends, can remain at large for a long, long time.

If and when we capture OBL some judge will probably say; Sir you were not a terrorist.

Just like Saddam's judge just said; Sir you were not a dictator.

If the trial were held in Pakistan, he would hailed as a national hero.......................all heck would break out in the streets if convicted.
