Several versions, all different, all great. JH was very proud of this song, as well he should be.

Having not heard a Jimi song in many weeks, for some reason I was thinking last night that Jimi's version of "Angel" is hands-down the finest I have heard. Or am likely to hear.
Oh, and here's one even better: His live version of Johnny B. Goode is also the finest I have ever heard. and I have heard a LOT of versions of that.
