F'ing cat puked on the Living Room Chair

Tried water, upolstery cleaner, blotting only.
Any experts at this?
Very $$ chair, bought it from a rich friend for pennies on the dollar. ( his wife bought too many of these chairs)
We were visiting the kid in SF at college for 4 days and came home to this very ugly yellow cat puke on my favorite chair.

You might try taking it to a pro...have the whole chair cleaned. Just judging by the pic, I'd guess that your cleaning attempt lightened the area.

Yep...cats barf. Cindy covers with towels when we're out...

if that acidity stuff was sitting there for 4 days, it might be too late to reclaim the fabric, unless you go all out and lighten the whole thing...

No expert, and I am a bit color blind, but it appears to me that you just need to clean the entire arm to equal it all out. IOW, I just see a clean spot now. (sorry if I am discounting some visual stain that my color vision is missing)

How about covering the stain with a nice cat fur patch?

We usually use lots of plain water sucked up by a wet-vac. Usually works well, but after 4 days who knows. Rubbing looks like something that fabric won't like.

I vote we put Higgins in the microwave and let the cat push the button.

If you have such expensive chairs, why not cover 'em when not in use? I would. 'specially with cats (and associated claws) around.

I know, that whole 20/20 hindsight thing. . .

I asked one of our cats...she agreed that the chair looked like it would make a superior scratching post.

We have a worthless 13 year old cat. He pukes on everything but the furniture. We have white carpet so my wife is an expert on what takes the stain out. I'll ask her when she gets home. On another note our non puking sweetest cat in the world was killed in surgurey by our vet. I would like to, well I can't say, but after we had said we don't want anymore post tests tagged us for 300. We won't be going back to that jackass to say the least.

It looks to me like what you're seeing is the dirt on the rest of the chair making the clean spot look lightened. I have the same problem after cleaning up mishaps on my carpet, then the light spots disappear when the carpeting gets cleaned. I've had awesome results with Spot Shot...

It looks like a mohair or chenille fabric, so it might be a little tougher to get the stain out. Try some Woolite like tabs said mixed with club soda and see if that will work any better. Otherwise, you might have to check with an upholsterer to find out what might work a little better.

Chairs are less than a year old, and never are sat in.

Try a steam cleaner, that always works... We tried spot-shot and others but they all left the white-ish spot.
Sometimes I hate the f'ing cat...
