say a prayer. They're talking on CNN about a school bus accident in Alabama, 2 dead, seven critical. jeez

It suprises me that there aren't more injuries on school busses. I have never been on a school bus, but from what I see they don't exactly look very forgiving to the occupants. Why do they not insist on seat belts being fitted? Rhetorical question I suppose - $$$.

Hope the carnage is minimal, just heard of a third fatality, very sad and unfortunate. Supposedly caused by another vehicle coming into play.

I don't believe seat belts on buses are out of the question in some states, it's more a factor of how you get the students (children) to wear them. You would need a police officer on each bus in order to enforce this.

Yeah, that happened here in Huntsville. It's been on the news all afternoon. The story is that a student (in his own car) was trying to beat the bus and made contact with it causing it to go over the side the raised part of the interstate and fall about 30 feet.

that sucks.....i don't know why people screw around with school busses.
i hope the kid driving the car which caused this accident is made an example of.........if the posting above is accurate.
