Yeah whatever. I have 44 names on my ignore list.
Often when someone crosses the line and over-steps the rules I just round file them. It should not be taken personally, but there are some people I want to listen to and others I don't want to listen to. Many are old trolls who only showed up long enough to get banned and aren't even around anymore. Others are people who's opinions I just don't want to read. Ironically Tabs was one of the first on the list but he is now one of my favorite posters. I really enjoy reading his stuff. Did he change or did I change? Doesn't matter. I enjoy this board more if I can selectively look at their posts if i want to, but don't have to scan through what I normally concider drivel if I don't want to. If someone does not like my posts, by all means put me on your ignore list. It won't hurt my feelings, I encourage it. I would rather have some people ignoring my posts than replying to them with weak replies, insults, and other attempts to troll. Plus it is funny to open a christian bashing or similar thread and see the same ignored names over and over. I think my record is 9 ignored posts in a row. I know what they think. I know what they are going to say. I know I will not agree with it. I know their posts are going to be insulting. I know they are going to say something in an attempt to twist reality or change the subject or turn it into a personal attack when their arguments are completely shot down with facts. Why bother? Life's too short. |
