The world according to George

10,000 scientists protest the Bush administrations interference

No, they are not claiming to invent the internet, but what the Bushies/Neocons are trying to to do is re-write the scientific process itself:

Still think 10,000 bi-partisen scientists are wrong, and you are right? Here's a museum for you: http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/americas/6216788.stm

edit: For SOME reason these stories are 'nare to be found in any of the major "liberal" US news sources. I wonder why?

I guess it's really not very signifigant...........

A quote from the Creation Museum story:

"The museum's aim is to bring Genesis - the first book of the Bible - to life for all ages, and promote the belief that the Earth is less than 10,000 years old.

Everybody who works at the museum has to sign on to the belief that the living Earth was created in six 24-hour days - rejecting the convention most scientists view as fact, that life evolved slowly over millions of years.

To hammer that point home, two smiling children clad in tasteful animal skins, work and play alongside a pair of baby Tyrannosaurus Rex."

What a bunch of idiots. I guess the term "deluded" actually fits better. Children played along side dinosaurs? That's a good one...
