If i could have any sidearm, it'd be a HK P7M8.

P7M13 is what you want if you can still get them. I love the accuracy, but overall there's a few things I don't love about it. You can't reload cause the polygonal barrel mangles the brass. Shoulder carry is ok, but the barrel is so short and all the weight is in the grip which makes it hard to do a inside the belt carry, just sorta awkward there. Lastly, my hand tires of the grip safety after the first hundred rounds. And now I have to shoot weak hand cause my elbow is broken, so that makes it worse for me.

Yeah, maybe we should include our guns in our signature blocks.

E.g.:

85 Carrera
9mm Sig P226
.380 Walther PPK-S
.38 S&W Mod 10

It's an FE grade Lefever. I have the GE and the H grade so it would be nice to have that one to get a little closer to the top of the line. Saw one just like it at a show 2 weeks ago for $950.00, but I have to sell one of my singles to buy another double. It's as bad as collecting cars but they take up less space!

I prefer the M8 actually. Fits my hand a hell of a lot better.

Why don't you have the grip safety spring lightened? Shouldn't cost that much.

Something tells me you pull a gun out in this situation and a firestorm of lead is coming back.

And they wonder why I don't want "them" in my neighborhood.

I was in Santa Clarita last weekend - what was formerly known as "God's Country" and/or "Copsville." I noticed how rather tense it's become there. Very strange vibe. I guess urban sprawl can't be stopped, huh?

Sounds like one of his partners got one anyway. This guy got life for a later murder.

One has to wonder, when actual video footage of such savagry is available, how anyone could believe these people will ever change.

I'm getting a little uncomfortable with the "them" and "these people" comments; who are we referring to? Criminals in general? Black thugs specifically?

I live in a truly multi-ethnic city, and I can tell you categorically that Damian "football" Williams has nothing on the Armenian/Mexican/white skinhead/etc. thugs in terms of being a complete waste of skin or acting like animals in the zoo.

I only bring this up because it seems that all it takes is one video of blacks looting to bring out the "animal/monkey/etc." comments from some people. It was evident during Katrina.

As for killing all of the people in the video of this thread, that would be murder unless it was pure self-defense. You cannot kill someone over car fender defense. Should they all go to jail? Hell, yes! Death penalty? No. Guess I'm a liberal after all. (I did not see them beating people to death on the video, only wrecking cars. If they were, then shoot away).

m21sniper 12-20-2006 11:42 AM

The legal justification for justifiable homicide is "What a reasonable person expects to be an imminent threat of death or grave bodily injury."

In my opinion being caught in a riot where the rioters are pulling open the doors of your vehicle VERY MUCH qualifies as such.

That may not mean that your local DA(who are typically very politically motivated creatures) will agree, but as they say, "It's better to be judged by 12 than carried by six."

Because if they do mean you ill will, waiting until the rioters actually lay hands on you is too late. Likewise, if their intent is to do you harm, going into fetal mode is not going to help you either.

Just ask Reginald Denny.

speeder 12-20-2006 12:24 PM

I agree in principle with your argument and I am no one's victim, but if you ever have the misfortune of needing to kill someone you had better use good judgment. If the DA and/or a jury does not agree with your assessment of "imminent threat of grave injury, etc...", you will spend the rest of your life in the state pen with your victim's friends and relatives. Not fun.

dd74 12-20-2006 12:34 PM

I heard USC bought most of the area around where the riots started, and completely homogenized it to the university's advantage.

Goes to show; economy trumps bullets and knuckleheads.
