and the same applies for the Iraq-Iran war

i'm not talking about simply selling arms

i'm talking about funding thugs like Sadam with multiple 1 Billion dollar checks, billions that were aimed at achieving certain political and strategic gains in the Middle East, as well as generating jobs on the home front, the US weapons producers ( and in some cases those of "allies" the likes of Dassault , or Bull and so on...

so yes, i do hold the sponsors accountable for some of those millions dead, simply because they are...

this is age old Middle Eastern tribal warfar, with one big difference, the last decades they had access to money and a lot of fancy gear...
Well said, and entirely accurate. It's high time we held governments responsible for the millions they kill; and hold those supporting said government accountable on a personal, moral level as well. We may not be able to arrest, try, and convict those supporters, but by God we can shun them every chance we get, refuse them jobs, and any other benefit of society.

Oh please, not this crap again. When will these shills stop their misinformation campaign. We're on to it already.

Shill? Misinformation campaign?
Do you lack the ability to back up an argument with evidence? It is you and your komrades who continue to make the false assertion. Instead of calling names, try providing evidence.

Since you can't and won't, I'll provide the facts:

Iraq's main financial backers during the war:
Saudi Arabia ($30.9 billion)
Kuwait ($8.2 billion)
United Arab Emirates ($8 billion)

Source: www.globalsecurity.org

US financial backing:
Some of the $5 billion in US and British agriculture credits were diverted to purchase military and dual-use supplies. Whatever the amount, it was a small portion of total financial support.

Iraq conventional weapons:
Iraq fought with Soviet weapons purchased in the preceding decade, with the exception of $200 million of US helicopters. These were the only direct U.S.-Iraqi military sales and were valued to be about 0.6% of Iraq's conventional weapons imports during the war.

Iraq chemical weapons:
According to Iraq's December 2002 weapons declaration to the United Nations, the top providers of chemical weapons precursors were:

Singapore* (4,515 tons)
Netherlands (4,261 tons)
Egypt (2,400 tons)
India (2,343 tons)
Federal Republic of Germany (1,027 tons)

* company affiliated with the UAE
