Scarface.....WTF

Yeah I know this has been around for a while. What does every gangster and wanna be gangster idolize Scarface? Didn't they see the end? I saw a guy yesterday wearing a white leather jacket with the whole thing emroidered in it. Pacino, guns, money and even the 928. Jacket had to cost $400 or more. Costs a lot to be a wanna be gangster.

I was watching some show on MTV or VH1 a few years ago that pointed out all of the references to Scarface on rap/hiphop videos. There were literally hundreds. I think it is similar to the way wannabe mafiosa idolize 'The Godfather'. I also think by immitating the movie, they hope to show they are not afraid of death.

Wasn't scarface originally a derogatory nick name for Al Capone? Gangster wannabes are such dorks, they shave their heads, get tats, wear outrageous cloths and jewelry... then wonder why civilised people won't take them seriously.

Clearly is just you. And is it just me, or does the 911 look like a VW Bug? Oh, right, it IS a VW bug, right down to the aircooled horizontally opposed engine. Farfergnugen dude. Quote:
Also, if you think gangstas want your respect, you are mistaken. What they want is your STUFF, and they are fully prepared to take it by force. Therein lies the real difference between "us and them." Last edited by m21sniper; 01-05-2007 at 12:05 PM..

I think the gangsta-wannabe's relate to Scarface because the Al Pacino character was a non-Causcasian (Cuban). Scarface or Tupac, what's the difference? Their role models are criminals...

PS: Mine is 23 years old, and good as new. Doesnt even leak oil...and the lower end gaskets are all original. Id like to see a 911 that could repeat that feat.
