Derek put the logo on the ass of the boxers so I can hang a BA when the cops come:) "C O N S O R T I U M" sounds BIG and organized. Like adding Inc. to a business name. Organised chaos...I like it! |

Tis the season.........for thinking outside the boxers. Boxers, because you don’t want to be brief. Everyone likes Boxers. Afterthought- no MIRRC on the backside! That arrow might give the wrong indication. MIRRC socks or flip flops would be cool. |

I have a strange feeling these are going to be popping up here and there and everywhere. That's twice Derek. You are an instigator of "Threads and Decals". http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1195544586.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1195544659.jpg |
I really like the IROC one.
So Derek, when should I meet you at Laurel and Mulholland so I can help you sell some stickers. Lets see, at $1 each, if we sell 15 per hour, we'll need to sit up there for ...................... uh forget it. |

Riverside Raceway Simulation Project
Hi Guys,
I think the MIRRC decals......are cool! But you guys have way too much time on your hands! LOL... Ron Cortez dropped by the shop over lunch and I was working on some signage on the main straight at RIR.....as I do most of my spare time now (I'm now 338 hours into this simulation project....logged). I started showing him some of this week's progress. He suggested I post a screenshot out of the RIR simulation for you guys showing the T-6 area like originally posted here back in August (it's on page 85). When I looked at it, it made me realize how much the track is coming along. Here's my attempt at posting this jpeg for you.......... http://pabst-racing.com/downloads/t-6_ss-2.jpg As you can (hopefully) see.....there has been progress. I just about ready to put a version of this track upstairs on one of simulators and get some local drivers (Bruce Griggs and Ron Cortez) to start running laps to help me dial in the details of the track configuration. The track now has working AI cars (artificial intelligence driven competitors) all running 1988 Cup cars. You can see two of them on-track in this screenshot. If I manage to pull this off without too much work...........I'm going to attempt to make an in-car video of a couple laps around RIR (simulated) in one of these 88' Cup cars and make it so it will play in Windows Media player. If I accomplish this.....I'll post it here so you guys can see the track "moving" instead of these static screenshots. You should be able to stream it off my website.......that's the game plan anyway. A million thanks again.....to all who have sent me pictures, posted pictures and sent information. Hopefully a video is coming next...............in a few more days.....perhaps by Thanksgiving Day? Regards, Tom Pabst Pabst-Racing.com |

MIRRC store full of Stuff! The pennies I make on this stuff to have the store open will eventually add up... right? |
Tom

\ Something about fine wine ?? Lets see now, flat out in fourth, foot down shift to third, that slows the car enough to hook it up the hill out of 5 and launch it into six. From the spectators angle watching a Reno Cup Race? BBBBBBBBBBBAAAAAAAAAAAAA, AAAHHHHHWWWWWWAAAAAAAAAAEEEEEEEE BAHHHHHHHHHHHHHH. |
Ah m embarrrased !
it ain't 7 this is what happens when you work 7 days a week with long hours moving and trying to help keep the shop going |

That looks freakin' phenomenal!!!! The only thing I notice is that the snack stand inside of six looks a little close to the fence. I could be wrong, 20 year old memories and all of that. I'll try and find something to corroborate that. Tom, with your permission, I would like to post your screenshot and contact info on the Atlas F1 Nostalgia Forum. It is a tremendous resource for all kinds of info and is populated with a lot of very knowledgeable people, many of whom spent time at RIR on and alongside to the track. Cheers, Kurt O. |
Hey Derek! I stopped by TRE (the old place) after stopping by TRE (the new place). Better hurry up and make a decision on a certain car! Dave B. and I are close to a deal, after all the cabling I have been doing and the incredibly tiny crawl spaces that are in the new place. It requires me to sell my Toyota ASAP though!
Radu, I heard you were able to finally hit a 1:25 - racing over to TRE and stop Derek from his mad purchase! |

Tom, what you have done is incredible. My experience at RIR was only for 4 weekends with the SCCA, which is nothing compared to the time logged in by Victor, Kurt, and many other accomplished racers. However, your screen shot looks accurate (by my recollection) of coming up towards turn 6. My hats off to you, many will greatly appreciate your work. Thank you. |

PRETTY AWESOME. JUST IN TIME FOR CHRISTMAS. BUT, DID YOU GUYS HAVE TO MAKE DUPLICATE THE IMSA LOGO? WOULD BE COOLER IF YOU COULD AT LEAST CHANGE THE COLORS OR DESIGN A BIT. OTHERWISE PEOPLE WILL CONFUSE IT WITH IMSA. WELL, AT LEAST THOSE OF US THAT KNOW OF IMSA. |
