Love it! And I don't even have sound on the computer I'm using.

Love how lfot looks so calm and happy through the whole thing (and somewhat Schumacher-esque, IMO), like he's out for a Sunday drive. Which I suppose he is.

Neat to see the road unfold through just the side and rear windows. Not a perspective I've ever noted, before.

I give it two thumbs up.

That was a fun clip - and you've got to admire a girl who, after that ride, is concerned about the guy's insurance on his P Car.

BTW - is that a Pelican driving?

TooTall 08-06-2009 09:58 AM

She needs to go for a run at 2am when its foggy. I can hear the screams now.....

TooTall 08-06-2009 10:13 AM

Ha! My wife began "opting out" of drives after our honeymoon in Big Bear where I introduced her to blasting up the mountain in our new to us RX7 Twin Turbo. She was not impressed. :D

Great Video Derek. No denying this one though, especially after removing your stealth sunglasses in the end.

If you listen closely, she's actually concerned that his coverage will cover her! :D

That was a fun evening. It was nice to see you Radu! Nice looking car, but there was a shoe mark on the seat and scuff marks... :p Interesting sound - or lack of it - as you left tonight. Hopefully the next time will be a little warmer ;).

A little glider video from last weekend.

Jeff and Kurt, you can kinda see the antenna on a white box at the beginning of the clip. The beeps are the variometer telling me if I am in a thermal or in sink. I hope that the thermals are with me and I am able to get way up there later in the morning...

Way cool Dave. Beats the olden days of looking up and hoping IT doesnt come down until you tell it to. Amazing how far this model hobby has come.

Friday night on Mul

Cool night tonight. Nice to see everyone and meet some new faces from the thread. Everyone had arms crossed attempting to beat the chilly air. Radu it was really 40 degree's not 63!

Jeff Hail 08-08-2009 12:29 AM

Hum? Photos not uploading tonight.

slodave 08-08-2009 12:35 AM

And one of us was wearing shorts. Sheesh! How many grew up here? ;)

Jeff, I started this video stuff years ago, but I am still in the minor leagues. There are cool HD vids and there are a handful of guys, flying RC helicopters with stabilized HD cams that could produce some nice overhead Mulhulland footage!

gostraight 08-08-2009 01:33 PM

good to see you guys again....Chris, cars looks amd sounds amazing. that was a fun little run, unfortunately too short....

jeff....bet it was in the 30's

What a day for an autocross! We had a blast! Weather was very mild for this time of year, course was tricky.

My best lap of the day...

2nd lap (timed)

My worst...

3rd lap (timed)

I'll let Derek and Jeremy brag on their own.

Thanks David!
Yes, that would be 3rd BRI.
If I'd have shaved another .3 off, I would have caught you.
Even with another run though, I doubt I could have done that.

vntgspd 08-10-2009 03:43 PM

Who's #1? Evan?

(sorry to use this forum but I am having some sort of DNS error with the PCA site and can't access any results)
