I personally hope he kills himself in the CGT. It would be a worthy sacrifice to get him off the road before he kills someone else.

It's one thing to have money. It's another to flaunt in the face of everyone. With the internet come the good and the bad I guess. I, personally, feel kind of strange sometimes driving my old 911 around at times. Little do people know it cost much less then most of the minivans on the road.

I love it. It's all praise for going on canyon runs on this forum, but someone makes a video screwing around in a C-GT and people make a bunch of assumptions about who he is, what he does, his driving skill, how he made his money, how he should spend his money, his death, etc.

I'm sure you all get in your Porsches and drive around doing the speed limit, abiding by every traffic law. Give me a break.

doing a fun run, speeding just a little, ya sure I would guess most would admit to that.

Sitting outside a restaurant revving an engine just to see a person jump is just ridiculous.

I dont hope that he dies or crashes but I hope his mother gives him a good smack upside the head infront of his girlfriend

Amir,
I will be the first to admit I drive my Carrera hard and usually don't follow the speed limit on the interstate or backroads that I know (usually 7-10mph over, sometimes 15+ depending on conditions). But, I sure as heck don't drive through residential areas or downtown like an ass or rev the hell out of the motor to show off. Around here that is what the ricers do and can get you into serious trouble if caught. I think there is a time and place for everything including spirited driving but this guy clearly doesn't understand what is appropriate.

So if I had a CGT I would push it but this guy just goes too far for the conditions he is in. As I have gotten older I look at things different and think "what if" he lost it and hit (killed) your loved ones driving in the other lane? This ass just doesn't seem to understand or care about what could happen. Rant mode off, the CGT does sound great.

You don't need to be THAT honest with us, I for one sure aint gonna check to confirm.

Still another case for retroactive abortion. A car can't pick it's owner, that's the tragedy here.

+1

In fact, we should start a lottery trying to pick the date he crashes it. My guess: May 12 2007

i think canyon runs are stupid, but at least they are not designed to annoy/scare people (that's just a side effect). This guy is setting out to be obnoxious and acomplishing his goal.

And i'll bet his g/f sucks in bed. And not in the good way...

Reminds me of the dick heads infesting my other motorized passion, Harley-Davidson. This is the same kind of ass clown that puts drag pipes on the new bike and vies for attention. A poser is a poser, be it in a $450k car or on a $20k bike. I just hate seeing a nice machine, representative of a group of enthusiasts, being presented to the public like this. We all get painted with the same broad brush as a result.

No. It is like someone who spams a Porsche off topic forum with lots of op-ed pieces and baits people with loaded arguements all the time. You can agree with a large part of the politics that they paste here, but still think the poster himself is an ass-hole.

This guy proved that all he's interested in is the way other people react to his car - and reduced himself to nothing more than a poseur. He's got a nice car but he's in it for all the wrong reasons. Until I see the next "Stupid People Tricks" video linked here, this guy is, to me, officially the Biggest Fuucktard in God's Green Creation.

Sometimes I hate to predict the future, but CGT, meet palm tree. Maybe he'll do it w/o a passenger but with an audience.

Can a traffic citation be issued based on an internet video?

I didn't see the video...too long to download on dial-up. This is somehow worse than all the Southern Cal Canyon runs?
