The brown stuff looks like glue over spray for the sound mat. Mat looks like it needs to be replaced. Good luck.

I didn't know that. Thanks for the correction.

White Carrera

I think that lot is located at about 158th and Hwy 99, having driven through that endless construction zone too many times myself.

Looks like the consensus in re: the price is that's it quite high for the condition and mileage shown.

On the plus side, the paint looks pretty good and the wheels seem to be unmarked (6s & 7s) with at least two of the wheel lock caps missing. Both fog lights are broken and the rear "bumper" has been backed over something and is damaged underneath and not repaired. The whole underbelly and engine compartment have been steamcleaned or at least pressure washed.

The real problem is the interior. Why the seller would not spend the time and money to clean it up when he is trying for a high selling price is a mystery to me. There is dirt everywhere. Look at the tops of the rear seats and the edge of the package shelf, for example. The door armrest is two colors. The seats show no evidence of any attempt to clean the leather or preserve it in the past, judging from the cracks. Unless this is a Texas auction car. The dash is not too good either, Look at the key surround, for example. The instrument pictures also show that the steering wheel needs redying. And the headliner................

But worst of all are the mats and carpets. The fact that the driver's side mat hasn't been thrown away is a clue to how this car has really been cared for. The caked mud on the pedals cinches it. You would think that the owner could have at least vacuumed it out.

Makes me wonder, looking at what I can see, what the mechanicals are really like.

Be careful.

That is EXACTLY the car...and the Fuchs are unscathed, too.

I think we're passing on this one. We've looked at several of them...went to Bellevue yesterday, only to find the car was sold...
Looked at another one at the same place...looks "iffy" to me, and they started talking about wholesaling it to me...at Park Place.
