Well it's been over a year, but I finally got my car back on all 4 wheels. It'll still be a few weeks before I can take her out, but once she's registered and ready, I'll join you guys to stretch her legs on a nice Sunday morning. Here's a gratuitous pic from my last run up there with her. It's been WAY too long

I figured out why your flash device did not work. The trip sensor is mounted to the top of your trunk. We had the trunk open while "flashing" your car  Dave

hmm...i thought the sensor was part of the lic. plate unit. i think the capacitor has a blown fuse.
either way it's coming out since i'm selling the box and getting something with the engine hanging out the back! |

update to the garbage dumped at the park.
i googled the guy and called him. he was a little freaked about the fact that i knew where he lives and his credit car number. turns out he has had his identity stolen a few times (you think he'd learn from that and not throw out credit card receipts). turns out he cleaned out his garage and put a bunch of stuff on the curb.
