I'm going to come again, I'll come up the 57 to the 210 and cut by travel time in half. I was a bit nervous about the wheel shudder I was having after my tranny rebuid I picked up on friday. Simple clutch cable adjustment this morning and "alls well".

I do live in Silverlake, But I am moving to Culver City. I will take a break from moving next weekend to drive around.

You guys should hook up with Dave B,he used to orchestrate big fun runs in the area- i'm sure he still does occasionally.That would be a great way for everyone to get together since this thread has sparked such interest and many fond memories.

We do get together with Dave B. a couple times a year. He puts on a great New Years Day Hangover Run and some smaller informal runs.

This is sort of a way for people to connect with Mulholland again, then expand out from there hopefully. A way to enjoy the history that has almost been forgotten, and have a little fun as well.

I'd also like to see it become somewhat regular. Not huge! Just regular, so that pelicans and the like will know there is something going on when they want something going on.

Hmmm... sort of like the idea of Mulholland.

And not that it needs to always be Mulholland Dr.
It can always go anywhere, but it gives a potential consistency to get together for shared experience.

i spoke with the manager of the Fox and Hounds tonight and he is all about having the Mulholland guys parked in front of his place after a run. I'm working on getting specials for the run guys, and he's going to look into blocking off parking on Ventura for us.

I know, but the "What happened to the Mulholland King of the hill" kind of just morphed into something special. I hope that it does stay. The other thread only moved when it became not-so-technical.

Other people have asked that the SoCal crowd post our runs in a more appropriate forum, but in that case, it was beat down and will stay here more than likely.
