Marc, That is a very nice looking car! I did not get to look inside today, but the exterior looked like it has been very well maintained. Drive it in good health! or, you can drive it like you just stole it!

Dave

Chris, Radu, what did you think about that little short cut at Coldwater South? Skirting the stop sign..

Radu, sorry for today, next time I'll step on it.

Kevin, your exhaust sounds very nice.

Hi all...

I had a great time yesterday getting to meet you and push the car a bit. Any chance that anyone is interested in opening up the choice of venues...further west on Mulholland and the canyons, Angeles Crest? Let me know!

well to be fair derek DID spend the first few minutes opening the car, setting off the alarm, turning on the wipers, stalling the car and finally getting a move on...

he also did get to endure my retro music selection...

Oh, we must be talking about a differant Derek. the one I saw stalled it twice. Angeles Crest would be coolio. I'm not sure where it is but I've heard it's great.

Hey, Marcus, welcome to the dark side. Good to see you here on Pelican. 36 posts is far too few, man.

There are lots of venues for some variety. Big Bear has been discussed recently on its own thread (well, I guess the Palomar thread). Big Tajunga is a great run. The R Gruppe just did that one on Thurs. And, I can always recommend Glendora Ridge Road (Google maps).

Ok ok...

My knee hit the wiper switch.
I put it in reverse, but killed it because it was actually 6th.
I was also busy turning off the radio, the ac, and trying to find the damn Sport suspension button.
The alarm... don't have one myself. My bad.

Marc, when you drive my car, you'll understand my "oh my god, how many freakin' dials and buttons can you fit in here!" reaction.

i only ever run it really early in the morning (like 7am) on sundays. watch out for sportbikes & suv's crossing the double yellow. lots of law enforcement too, especially on the climb to angeles forest hwy. i never speed on that stretch. at the top the speed limit climbs to 50 (or is it 55?), which allows some fun to be had.
