Last year, our company was having some severe cash flow problems due to the stupid decisions of our CEO, who is no longer with us. During this, our equally bright VP of Finance sent everyone that had e-mail in the company an Excel spreadsheet of accounts receivable detailing the millions of $$ that were owed us, but not being paid due to contractual promises not being met.
IT got the blame for this, since the "Everyone" mailing list was right next to the "Executive Committee" one in the Outlook address book. We all figured that the person who invented the alphabet should be punished, had a good laugh, and the "Everyone" mailing list quietly went away.
