Date these bullets

My dad found these while digging in his garden 40 yrs ago...Rock Island Illinois. I know nothing about them--Feels like they're lead--Looks like copper on the outside? Just curious.

my guess is semi auto pistol slugs likely from twenties to forties. looks like .45s .
wasn't there a rock island arsenal?
maybe someone plinking at cabbages?

.45 ACP, more than likely.

Although without some measurement of the diameter, could be .32 ACP or even .25.

I agree...could be any caliber. Neat rock (or sand?) impression on the one on the left... a caliper needed here...

Size relative to the USB terminal, the cannelure grooves, the length looks like military .38 Special FMJ.

there's an equal impression on the right side of the one on the left--very symmetrical looking.

if it's .451, it's a .45ACP... if it's .357, it's likely .38 special...

Another vote for .45 ACP.

The backside of the rounds look exactly like some WW2 rounds I have.
