My daily driver is a multi-purpose do it all Van. I cart the kids, now the puppy (sweet!), the pet rabbits when they need to see the vet, the kids' sporting gear, the musical intruments, the friends and their stuff - the usual. PLUS we use it as a van for carting anything and everything; including gearboxes etc when necessary. PLUS it is our tow car...this van has hauled more stuff than imaginable. So she gets dirty and then I call my trusty detailer; cross his palm with lots of $$ and ask him to make her beautiful again. Certain subtances are BANNED from my car - the usual illegal stuff ![]() Once when I was feeling particularly attached to my Van I decided to polish her by hand....after spending the afternoon sitting on the roof I decided it was a once only effort - kinda like painting a ceiling; it never looks as big until you start ![]() The worst trash heaps of cars I have seen are OWNED BY MEN! Seriously...one in particular - gives "rubbish tip" a new meaning. But I think we girls are like good boy scouts - always need to be prepared; so we fill our cars with things that may be needed no matter what the situation. Don't open my glovebox for all manner of things are kept in there - bottle openers, first aid kits, no water required hand cleaners, moisturisers, sunblock, HEAPS of extra bandaids, tissues, god knows what else! Then there are the spare fuses, a couple of spanners, a couple of screwdrivers - you know; the important stuff! Women are expected and relied upon to always have the right item on hand - it's our job! |

My friend signed the papers, pulled down the driveway and stopped at the road to be love tapped by some women. No damage luckily but what a start for his new supra.
