What do they do pull the hand brake on to do that rear out in the corners. Is that the fastest way around those corners or just the coolest?

The Japanese drifting champ could do that sleeping. He's amazing; controls his drifts using the gear box. During a demonstration for Octane (a UK car rag) he even took his hands off the wheel, waved and smiled at an imaginary crowd. In the middle of a drift.

I think it's the fastest way around those hairpins. They use the same trick also in WRC.
