Michael,

Bring the girls from your boat party!

Jordi,

Still planning on being there unless work gets in the way.

Anyone interested for me to check with Renegade Hybrids, Premier Sportscar (www.premiersportscarservice.com) and/or Carl's Place to organize a 'guided' visit of their facilities during UPM Deux??

Jordi,
Sounds like a great idea. Doesn't Shelby have a facility in LV also.

Yes, Shelby Automobiles Inc. is based here (http://www.shelbyautos.com/) as well some Harley tuners. Southern Nevada has become a 'hot bed' for people and companies 'not so happy' with California taxes and regulations

I bet that would also get some interest.
Has the "collective" settled on a date yet?

I'm ready to come down - I just need a definitive date....

I was not kidding when I said for you to set the date ... Richard (and g/f) will be here during Memorial Day weekend, red-beard maybe, Joe maybe.

I still think that the May 18th or June 15th dates are the best as we can go to Pahrump to see/participate in the races and even visit the 'Bordello Museum' !!!

I just need a set of dates to try to organize some activities ...

... and my place is not THAT big, I may have one or two bedrooms available and a couple of couches ...

Jordi,
All kidding aside. As I mentioned before I think I have the furthest to travel - so it does entail some planning.
I know that Richard's date is set in stone and can not be changed. For Joe it is always a scheduling issue (nature of his job).
There is a practical reason that Memorial weekend would not make a lot of sense.
As we move forward into the summer - I am not convinced how my targa would enjoy the summer heat (no AC - common to that vintage and black inside and out).
That being said we have been regulars to LV for the last 15+ years and always enjoyed the place.
Just got back from a track day @the LVMS. Awesome.
Both dates that you have suggested May 18 or June 15th are fine by me - since it would be part of a longer trip...

Targa, black, summer, no AC and Las Vegas is not a good idea, at least not an enjoyable one.

OK guys and girls ... make your mind ... people are waiting !!!

A lot depends on the hole in the back yard. It was dug in a day. The rebar was layed in 4 hours. There is a possibility it will contain concrete by the end of the week.
