i'm sure they can find an allready wrecked CGT easier then they can find a CGT they can wreck for the movie

the above pick looks damaged,but i'm sure it didn't summersault 10 times off a cliff

i've seen one that clipped a tree, and the whole backend was gone, engine and all... so if one were to flip one over 10 times off a cliff, i'de expect to see loads of CF pulverizing and have nothign but the cockpit monocoque left over

That was not even a scale CGT that was flipped. There are some scenes where you can see legs of the crew behind the car and it clearly is a smaller scale car. I also agree with the engine compartment being very empty.

isn't the engine designed as a load bearing part of the chassis?
not sure on that
