And, I don't go "cruising" at church. Every woman I've met there has approached me (my church has a get-together in the cafeteria after services). And every single one has "given it up" within 2 ~ 3 dates. No sex before marriage? Heck...I'm not marrying any woman who puts out after 2 dates. It's like Billy The Kid said when asked why he robs banks: "Cause that's where the money is". Y'all can have your on-line dating...I'll see you in church. Folks tend to sow their wild oats on Saturday night. Then on Sunday, they go to church and pray for a crop failure...

It took me about a half dozen years of internet dating in the late 90s to find my wife. We're still happy two kids later. | ||

I've been doing match.com and yahoo off and on... met a woman last week for drinks one evening.... In her profile, she put 'voluptuous' as her body type. I would have described her as fat. She didn't have much of a chest, either. To credit her, tho, she had a pretty face and great hair. She was also just a little too serious and analytical for me to be at ease with her. She'd probably make a cool female friend, but that's about it. I've emailed about a dozen women on Match... and pretty much get ignored every time. I'm not a bad lookin bloke, but my pictures suck. I've got a well written profile, and I've got lots of good qualities (I can't count how many times women I know have asked why I'm single. EVERY woman that I've met and actually dated asks me that) It's my opinion that women nowadays are just too gorram picky. I've also noticed, there are many more attractive women on match.com than on yahoo. Guess I'll just keep pluggin away, maybe I'll luck out sometime!

Well, that was a fast date. Started at 2:00, ended at 3:00. Every time she looked at me, she frowned. Must've been the rainy weather; it makes everyone frown, right? Oh well, at least the coffee was good. Mike, your sig is very appropo..

I met 4 women in the past two days from match. Trying to be efficient. First two were not as advertised, second two were. Having dinner with the 3rd one tonight. You gotta work if you want to meet them. I have about a 20% response rate on emails sent. And you can't just email bomb women...you should read their profile and respond accordingly. Odds are still small that you'll live "happily ever after" but I've met some great women, a few that ended up as multiple dates, and a few that are friends. You just gotta be open to what comes...

I'm trying, boss. I'm meeting another woman tomorrow. She's a nurse who works with me at the V.A., and she asked me out. The weather should be nice. I hope to use this new bottle of jasmine-scented massage oil soon..

The other ominous sign is when they show a pic of the face only and no body shots. Note to the ladies: Exposing large amounts of cleavage does not cancel out large amounts of azz!
