Litterers... payback

I take the dogs for a nice 2-3 mile walk every day after work. Lately, I've got them trained to do their business before we leave, so I rarely have to scoop while I walk them.

So, lately I've been using my plastic bag to pick up litter as I go. It drives me freakin nuts. It's a nice road in a nice area, and people are pitching their cigarette packs, coffee cups and fast food wrappers along the street. Based on the litter, I can safely say that they are fat, lazy smokers. I never seem to find granola bar wrappers, or trail mix packs.

Anyway, last night as I'm walking along a burgundy suburban drives by, and further down the road I see him pitch a bag of garbage out his window. By the time I meander up there it has been driven over a couple times and is strewn around a bit. McDonald's bag with the pickles, ketchup and crap. Pi$$ed off, I gather it up and put it in my bag.

About 25 minutes later, I come around a corner and see the Suburban parked along the street, empty. By then my bag is full, thanks to other lazy a$$hats like this guy.

As I walk up, I think it through and do the only rational and proper thing. I open the driver's door, and empty my bag... making sure his McDonald's garbage is clearly on the top.

I have to admit I knew I'd be in for an a$$kicking if I got caught, but it sure felt good. I'll probably find it all along the street again this afternoon, but that's OK. I'll pick it up again.

Kudos! Love it.

A cop buddy of mine, while off duty, was behind a car in a parking lot that threw a bag of garbage out the window. My buddy pulled in behind him and told him to pick it up. Perp, not knowing who he was talkinig to, told him to go f*ck himself. My buddy was out of uniform and out of jurisdiction, but held the perp there, called the local po po and the idiot was cited for littering. Sometimes there is justice in the world.

I have to admit my adrenalin was pumping, but I was just too pi$$ed off.

I pick the stuff up day after day. I just couldn't pass up the opportunity to say thanks.

Too bad the Dogs couldn't squeeze out a little "gift" to add to the pile...

Actually they did have a poo, but I didn't leave that bag in the truck. Even if they are pigs, leaving poo in their truck is not something I would have been able to brag about. Not that I didn't think about it though.

I wish I had a dime for every cig that's thrown out the window in my sight. I'd be rich.

Ya, but if had I posted saying that the guy chased me down and peppered me, you'd all be saying "What did you expect?!?" LOL

I'm taking the dogs for a walk now. We'll see if he just dumped it outside his door

I live one block from a beach front park... there is a garbage can about every twenty or thirty feet... people drive for miles to enjoy our beautiful park by the sea... and leave piles of garbage a few feet from a can, in the park they came to enjoy.

I will never understand this.

Well done! You're my hero!
