Pelican Temp Check

What has been the peak temp at your home during recent heat wave? Got up to 115 out on my deck the other day, was 100 at 10:00 PM, if you can believe that. So far 3 in a row 100+days, though the cool delta breeze is saving my ass right now.

Low of 77.

From the friend staying at my place was 114 yesterday.

Am on the outskirts of town and right on the edge of the desert, so not as much asphalt and concrete to heat everything up.

Its 86 here in Cannes and sunny. Tomorrow will be London and with it rain and 65 degree temps. Guess where I would rather be? Home in Phoenix... yes I am sick.

But it is a dry heat. Okay if not too windy.

You knew you were going to have a rough day in Houston when you left the house while it was still dark, and sweat through your shirt on the way to the car.

My sister in law, wifes sister, and her husband recently moved to Lake Havasu City, AZ. While it's not beyond me to tell them both to go to hell, it seems they have taken my advice.

Easily over 110 every day, over 120 plenty often and it doesn't take a heat wave to get there. I have no urge to visit them, but I never did anyway.

Hasn't been hot enough to even think about turning the air on yet. Foggy mornings, cool evenings.

we have had nothing but crap for weather, with 70 being the warm side. March and April were nice, then we hit June/July and it's rained every single day at some point.

I could live with that. Long Beach is hot and muggy lately. Better today. We are always on par with downtown LA for temps. Seal Beach and San Pedro will easily be 10 degrees cooler, if not more.

So are you going to come to the Marriot in Dana Point tomorrow for THE show? Get out of the heat?

Low 90's in DC today, but somewhat cooler and very pleasant temps for the past week.
