Having had a 944 and 951 I LOVE the look of a well setup and insanely clean 951. That was just a sexy, muscular looking car.
In more modern cars, I always check out G35's - one of very few new cars I could see myself owning. I am intrigued by the Mini Cooper S but I'm too old to own one. I'd look ridiculuous driving one of those. Even I can't believe that I like the CLK 500... but I kinda do!

I love looking at any old Jag--from the 40's to the 70's with the XKEs as the ultimate, of course. The lines on those cars--jesus but the styling was amazing. +1 on the TR6.
2d look newer car? Lambos. So exotic and unusual. Ford GT too, which looks better, lower, and sounds meaner in person than an article could ever capture. It's also amazing at how easy it is to immediately spot a water-cooled 911--it's almost like a 6th sense. How often do you think you see one but it turns out to be something else? For me, never. JH

I like non cookie cutter cars btw 911's are so common here they donot get noticed unless old or poor turbo clones my two best street driven spots a real P3/4 in the grove before the prices went nuts chased that one in a chevy V8 but he drove it like he stold it and simply ran away and a royal bug on sw8st aka cali o-no followed him to the super sub shop to see if it was real, it was, a bugs details are unmistakeable like 36'' alloy wheels, and overall fit and finish quality of the small bits |

I always check out Porsches, especially the non-911s. So far I've seen a few 928s and 356s, not too many 944s and not a single 914 this summer. Recently I was watching the MTV "Spider-Man" cartoons, done by computer and noticed something hilarious - their "traffic scroll" has a guards red 911 targa (SC or Carrera) in it; in a 20 second scene, you'll see the same car pass by 4 or 5 times.
I notice BMW Z4s because it's the first time I've owned a car and NOT seen a ton on the road. I've yet to see a Z4 coupe outside a dealership, and I've seen one Z4M Roadster in the flesh. I think the scarcity is why I get so many compliments on mine. I also check out the old Bimmers - saw an gleaming mint E28 on Sunday, and a young girl driving a white E30 cab.

Every car that was mentioned here I'll be seeing on Saturday at the Pittsburgh Grand Prix. That have an outstanding collection of driven european cars going back a century. Anyone need any pics of certain year/model, let me know.

There are a few cars.....
....I will look at.
Hey Brownie....lots of Z4's in the Toronto area.... I always look at exotics, can't help it. Pcars of all kinds, although I haven't seen a 914 on the road lately. AMG Benz's are cool, I like them, and the CLS is nice. Anything old I will look at too....American, Euro, doesn't matter....I appreciate the restoration, conservation, or custom car nut....I used to like the lines of the BMW's, but all the new angled tail lights seem to have been purchased from Hyundai, and they have lost their curb appeal to me. Aston Martin definitely gets a second look. I'm a bike guy too, so anything non-Harley gets a look - see. As far as SUV's go, I used to like the Peppermobile, and hate the X5, and I find that reversed now.....I like the lines of the X5 and have no time for the Cayenne.

Anything from 1973 back always catches my eye. I'm starting to get a thing for these 50's retro rods
![]() I did purchase one of the new style mustangs. I just thought they were so cool when I first saw it. 2005 GT vert. Very fun car. It got a little suspension work and some brakes, a little boost via it's computer... ![]()

Old: Aircooled VW Type I ('60s era and earlier), buses and pickups (especially double cbs). I like them all lowered just a bit ![]() Markus '80 SC |

There is a Series 2 E-type Coupe that is slinking around my neighborhood. I have seen it 3 times at night. I always do a double-take.

I just love cars. Anything cool and old, anything rare or expensive, any car tastefully modified. Except for the rental appliances, I really pay attention to most cars. Even if I wouldn't own it, if it is halfway cool it's worth a second look.
