My estimate at 14250, doesn't seem do able at this point...I would expect a rally as the Market is oversold. So 13,250 - 13750 would be my guess.

I hate to say this, but Americans are tapped out.
The US Dollar is still in free fall. The US Government spending way more than it takes in. Oil heading over $100 a barrel. The signal for recovery will be a US government that decides to balance our budget. Until then forget about any good times. The DOW december 31st..............12,250.

Economy SUCKS for most
While I, and many of you are doing quite well, I look around and see many, way too many, maxed out on their cards and about to default on their mortgages. If the 'general' public can't be relied upon to shop our economy's way out of this one, I shudder to think what we are in for.

I suppose I was "irrationally exuberent" with my initial prediction. I'm thinking maybe 12,500 or thereabouts now.

let me revise my 13,250 downwards....my new target is..... 11,750...followed by steep declines early next year...by the end of 2008 DOW....7500...you heard it hear first.

O Geez PWD says 13,500..his wife is better at it than I am so....maybe I'll go back to my 13,250 to 13,750 range...yeah that sound good...so that is my story and I'm stickin to it.
