No royalties and really not that much fame either. The product isn't that sexy but it does a great job, is novel and has helped out tons of folks.
Funny thing is, this product is one of our smallest in terms of sales volume but is responcible for our greatest sales increases. This fulfills one of the ten things I want to get accomplished before I die.

Cash - That maybe the way I die!
Jays72T - yes, it did take that long and I have been told that it will take even longer for new patents. Not really sure why but it is much more difficult to get patents issued now than say 5 or 10 years ago. Often, the Patent Office will have you re-issue which also costs the applicant. I think it is a money making attempt on their part.
