Can a good Muslim be a good American? I forwarded that question to a
friend who worked in Saudi Arabia for 20 years . The following is his
forwarded reply:

Theologically - no. Because his allegiance is to Allah, the moon God of
Arabia. Religiously - no. Because no other religion is accepted by
his Allah except Islam (Quran,2:256)

Scripturally - no. Because his allegiance is to the five pillars of
Islam and the Quran (Koran). Geographically - no. Because his allegiance is
to Mecca, to which he turns in prayer five times a day.

Socially - no. Because his allegiance to Islam forbids him to make
friends with Christians or Jews. Politically - no. Because he must submit to
the mullah (spiritual leaders), who teach annihilation of Israel and
Destruction of America, the great Satan.

Domestically - no. Because he is instructed to marry four women and
beat and scourge his wife when she disobeys him (Quran 4:34 ).

Intellectually - no. Because he cannot accept the American
Constitution since it is based on Biblical principles and he believes the
Bible to be corrupt.

Philosophically - no. Because Islam, Muhammad, and the Quran do not
allow freedom of religion and expression. Democracy and Islam cannot
co-exist. Every Muslim government is either dictatorial or autocratic.

Spiritually - no. Because when we declare "one nation under God," the
Christians God is loving and kind, while Allah is NEVER referred to as
heavenly father, nor is he ever called love in The Qurans 99 excellent
names.

Therefore after much study and deliberation.... Perhaps we should be
very suspicious of ALL MUSLIMS in this country. They obviously cannot be
both "good" Muslims and good Americans.

We Christians are becoming the voiceless minority. Which Middle East nation has the lion's share of oil wealth currently, and doesn't keeping Iraq unstable keep the oil in the ground in Iraq, and to whose benefit? So who would most likely be funding insurgents? Those who would not benefit from Iraq stability.
And while all the focus is on the middle east, Islam is quietly going about it's business of making massive inroads into our everyday lives. They burn effigies of our leaders and the Pope etc and we do nothing but scoff, we draw a f@#king cartoon of Allah or Muhammad and they riot worldwide with intent to kill all Westerners.There is a group here in Australia who wants a separate Islam state here, WTF!!!! I am not a racist, but these people are making me one, that's their intention.
I have a great respect for all those Allied soldiers in Iraq. Australians and Americans have fought side by side since WW1. I am grateful for the U.S and my own countries efforts in keeping our world, OURS! The guy's that put their lives on the line everyday are my heroes. The Western world needs to get behind our soldiers and back them all the way. Just as they stopped Australians from speaking Japanese and the British from speaking German.
For all the naysayer's of the world and those that condemn the actions of G.Bush, let's just hope in 50 years we not saying, " you know, George Bush was right, we should have throttled them"

Thanks for your post and there are a lot of us who feel the same as you do. I hope you are wrong but firmly believe that you are correct.

The soldiers, police and intelligence people who are fighting against these people deserve our support. They very well may be our last hope against this worldwide menace...

after reading snopes and seeing their claim of false, i just had to check.
this dude was raised and socialized as a muslim, then converted to christianity as a teen - preteen.
his biological father had nothing to do with is beliefs as he left when the child was 2. tell that to my two year old.
snopes main reason for the false claim is the word radical. noone is saying Obama is a radical muslim, just raised a muslim.

So snopes is the final authority on all things? Snopes knows the intents of all men's hearts? Snopes is the one source of truth on the internet. I don't know anything about Obama or really care. I am powerless to have any effect on the country's choice of a president, but I do know that the Muslims will not be satisfied until all Christians and Jews are dead or converted. BTW the Muslim god is not the God of Christians and Jews, that I do know. There are many gods, but only one true God. He can't be assigned different names and characteristics at the whims of men.

Sounds to me like it is a matter of interpretation as to whether it is true or not Todd.

Every single one of those points about being a good Muslim being incompatible with being a good American are valid. The Koran(Kuran, Quran, I think I have seen that spelled at least 3 ways. What is up with that, and Usama vs Osama, is one anglicized or something?) has that stuff in there, though the Bible has some pretty harsh stuff too, but generally in trying to teach a lesson.

Judaeo-Christian values basically teach peace and love. Sure there are radicals that blow up abortion clinics, but they are denounced by the other Christians. That is the crucial difference. They are dancing in the ****ing streets in Damascus if they hear about very bad things; a schoolbus full of Jewish kids blows up, or a few hundred Americans in Beirut or Washington DC are killed. They throw big parties when a few thousand innocents die in one day and revere the perpetrators. People better start waking up to what is going on in the world.

BTW, the majority of citizens in this country are finding the problems in this country are originating in this country. Our extra curricular activities are weakening the dollar, and have very little to do with the ''Islamic Menace''.

I lived among Muslims growing up in Singapore. Went to school with them, played with them, had Muslims working for my dad's company, celebrated their holidays, checked out the local mosque and called them friends.

It seems odd that folks in one sentence would praise the peace and love of Judeo-Christian values spew hate and contempt in the next for their Muslim bretherns. What was it that Jesus was saying about hypocrites?

Not quite Alf. Allah is a contracted version of Al Ilah, the Arab moon god. The muslims wanted to kill Salman Rushdie for publishing some of mohammed's early works where he explained that worshiping the whole pantheon of pagan gods was OK as long as you believed that al ilah was the head dude. Mo made quite a few "adjustments" to his "revelations" while trying to package them in a marketable form. While trying to peddle his system to the Jews he cut the rest of the gods from his squad so it would apper more palatable to the mono-theistic Jews. They showed him the door & he began preaching hate against them (the people of the book) which continues till today.
