I have four SIG's and two 1911's. More than I need, but never as many as I want. Next SIG is a P225 or the 556 big bad assault rifle. Eventually, I will get my dad's Commander and probably buy him a bone stock CPO P220 for him to have as a house gun.

Okay,.........If you want something cool, it is a little pricey and the ammo runs about $25 a box check out a FN-57 in 5.7 X 28. It is a pistol but the ammo looks like minature 7mag rifle rounds.....

In 1971 I remember trying to decide between a 6' Colt Python & a Gold Cup. Price was about the same, $230. I bought the Python. The last time I went to a gun show Gold Cups are $1500 for a rough one to $3000 or so for a clean one. Pricey but very few things feel better in your hand.

I think Pema would make her choice in the moment, and likely would appreciate having a variety of paths rather than be forced into a single way.

Todd:

I read some Pema based on advice you gave to another person a year or so ago. I want to thank you for posting. I really enjoyed the reading and listening to a few CD's.

Thanks Todd!

Sincerely,

Mike

Mike, cool that it spoke to you. She is pretty amazing...not mystical or hung up on pretense, just straightforward and sane in a gentle way. I'd love to see her speak. They do video lectures of hers at Shambhala but it always seems to fall on nights I have my son.

I was a confirmed Beretta fan until my father and brother (both LEOs) convinced me to buy a Sig P239 almost 2 years ago. To me, the way the Sig feels and shoots is so much better than the Beretta that I shoot the Sig much more then the Beretta. My father has several Sigs in .45 that I'll eventually get as my brother has his own. The Sig is the Porsche of pistols, IMHO...

My P239 is my main carry piece now. Fits in the small of my back and is covered up well with just a t-shirt.

I guess I should have qualified that. The P210 is the finest 9mm ever made, but I still favor a CZ75 to any other 9mm

Get a real gun. The 1911 that has been "massaged" is a work of art...

No one here needs another one of anything....I'm thinking of selling everything I own and going and living in a Tibetian Monastery.

Sell me your "spoons" and flying carpets before you leave!

We assume that you are leaving to join and sharing a room with this young lady?
