Hey dheinz,

What is a taunaus? is that a misprint?

No misprint, but perhaps misspelled with an extra "u".
A Taunaus is a German Ford that I owned while stationed in Germany in the Army in 1972.
This particular car was a 4 cylinder, 4 speed on the column slug about the size of an early Ford Falcon.
The fuel economy was decent.:)

I can't believe the sheer volume of cars some of you have owned!

I've been very fortunate in that all of the cars I've owned have been very clean, shiney, and well maintained, if modest. I'm 33 now and have only owned:

1988 Chevy S10 Blazer (RIP- rollover accident)
1989 Pontiac Firebird V8
1993 Pontiac Firebird Formula (I miss the torque)
1998 GMC Jimmy SLT (Just sold to sister's boyfriend, miss it)
1987 911 Carrera
2000 Jeep Cherokee Limited
