Why, why, why? Please, someone explain this to me.
How do you start with a '74 and end up here? |

What a sorry cocktail of a vehicle. It should be put to rest in it´s agony. Being born a fine, proud Stuttgart automobile, ending up like a circus freak.

The exterior seems pretty clean, especially considering everything must have been a one-off or thereabouts (although I've seen 996 bodykits for -993 cars, still a lot of work). Interior looks like it's from a 964. Obviously somebody spent some time and money on this thing, too bad it's all for nothing.

I was going to say doesnt look bad. Until I saw the side view. Wow didnt know that it was possible to mess a 911 up that bad since Vanilla Ice.

All these threads do is turn into a "Slam Fest"
Why don't we aspire to a higher caliber and seek out projects and people who will enlighten and teach as MANY already do here. Knocking someone elses ideas or taste doesn't bring anything positive to what I need to learn and pass on. That's like watching Cops and feeling my life is great, because this shmuck is in trouble, and if your not interested in purchasing the "Thing" don't yank his chain or anybody elses blabbin about it. Move On. Peace David |

The ultimate cash flow issue. You buy the 74 because that's all one can afford, realize it's a disappointment and then sink 30K into it to try and make it something cool.
I didn't look at the entire listing but sure don't want my a$$ in a car with a 33 year old suspension and 400 hp. Hope they find a buyer, maybe whoever buys it will come to Pelican for some answers, what fun that will be. ![]() |

When I saw the front view, I didn't think it looked half bad. Then I saw the side view.....ouch. It looks like a Micro Machine.

I have no problem with it at all.
Would I ever buy it? No. Someone had fun and persued their dream. I don't know why they are selling if they went to all that trouble. To each his own. This example is not in the same league as some of the other "gems" we've seen. Agreed? KT
