______________________________ +1 Truly 'art' is in the eye of the beholder, but what some of these people pass off as art ...isn't. IE: A woman, in live shows, that covers herself in chocolate? A jar of urine with a cross in it? Just more "look-at-me" idiocy.

Always interesting how those with the least amount of interest in art ( well not just art to be sure) seem to think they know best what it is all about.

I've seen this guy's work in person and it's pretty incredible. He has a piece on permanent display at the modern art museuam in Ft. Worth, Tx.
I'm sorry that sammyg2 isn't moved by art in any way. It's not so much about understanding it as it is about how it makes you feel. JR |

Art is purely subjective. I have a fairly significant art collection and I don't give a cr@p what anyone else thinks about my stuff. It's for my enjoyment.
Earlier this Summer, I discovered a photograph I owned had appreciated 70X since I bought it and decided that the money would be more useful in the short term. I presume most of the art I own has appreciated. For the most part, I don't care, because that's not what it's about. I feel sorry for folks who aren't touched by art or music.
