This was most likely concocted as a publicity stunt. Doesn't he have a book coming out? Then someone brought a gun... Now they are really in trouble.

A news segment last night indicated that "the stuff" was aquired via an auction at a storage facility. Apparently, OJ was not paying the rent and the contents of his storage unit were auctioned off.

IF that is true, it's no longer his stuff to get back.

No publisher would touch it, so Fred Goldman got the rights and then got a deal.

So he went in and physically took back what was his stuff, alongside people who were armed?

It's looking bad for Juice.

Did anyone hear the audio tape from when OJ burst into the hotel room? Juice's voice is clearly heard shouting "Give me my m--therf--cking ***** back!"

Even Johnny Cochran couldn't out-argue that evidence.

Had to LOL when I heard on the radio: "Suddenly, we're back to the early 90's. Hillary is promoting socialized medicine, and O.J. is behind bars."

So, I wonder if he was hiding whatever we are talking about and then was in need of getting it back for whatever reason. This story is gonna have some new developments.

Oh, you must not have worked in the crime lab for LAPD in the mid 90's. Because if you did, you'd know how we were always the sacrificial lambs when RHD was invovled in a case (still are).

There was blood evidence of ALL 3 in the Bronco between the front seat and the center console (I should know, I took it apart)...did that ever make it into the trial?...NOOOO! Why? THe DA's office couldn't prosecute their way out of a paper bag (or a leather glove for that matter. So, go ahead and blame the Lab, everybody else does...we're used to it.

It's nice to see that everybody and their mother knows how to do our job better due to all of the CSI shows now, but nobody ever gets it right because all of their information comes from T-fuchen-V.

I'm glad everybody can voice their opinions in this great country, it'd be boring if you couldn't

Cheers,

BTW, The Blake aquittal was my fault, too...I could figure out a way to levitate myself above the dumpster to pick through the garbage to locate the P-38 9mm.

Can't we release O.J. and let A.C. drive just for old time sake? Does anyone have a white Bronco they could lend him?

Did I mention the crime lab? No. By "mishandling" I meant how it was transported, and supposedly mixed up with other blood evidence. I can't remember the details, but I believe star witness Mark Fuhrman had something to do with how the blood evidence was improperly handled at Simpson's house, and as we all know, Fuhrman additionally had some...ur...stereotype/racial problems that made him less than stellar. It was enough to make him retire and high tail it to Sandpoint, Idaho, that is after he was charged with perjury. And here he was, a star witness for the prosecution.

Whatever the case, L.A. still had O.J. on the hook, but lost him for many other ridiculous, sloppy and unprofessional reasons.

I'm sure L.V. remembers all this quite well, and will do everything it can not to be embarrassed in the same way L.A. was.

Absolutely hilarious. Should go over well in court.

Did everyone hear where OJ recruited his accomplices? At a wedding reception. Seriously, you can't make this stuff up.

Crazy.

Even if he did "get his ***** back", aren't there still millions in uncollected civil awards by the Goldmans out there? Even after whatever the book is supposed to make? Couldn't they just forcibly seize those assets and sell them again (or does FL prevent that too?)

I have to agree with Wayne - LV cops have probably the toughest job of any force in the nation - given the amount of money in that town, the number of transients and scumbags and scam artists, not to mention drunks, it's no wonder they don't just flip out and go postal more often than not.

I'm out in Vegas semi-regularly for work (we do several projects out there, plus my company has a satellite office there and my boss owns property there). Last time I was out there I saw an (inattentive) pizza delivery guy in a POS Toyota flat-out slam into somone stopped at a red light. In Vegas, this actually happens a lot (lots of big, wide, straight, multi-lane roads, so people "zone out" and then see the red light at the last second - or don't see it). Anyway the guy wasn't wearing a seat belt so his face cracked the windshield and was bleeding and stuff. Okay, but cut up. Cops showed up and started yelling at the guy for being so stupid. AND made him sweep up the street with a borrowed broom from a gas station next door. Then wrote him a ticket.

Not to mention Vegas is probably one of the most obvious terrorist targets for radical religious nutcases wanting to return the world to 7th century piety. So there's lots of REAL criminal threats there - no wonder the cops there seem a bit "on edge" all the time. Plus you have to be out in the 120-degree heat all day.

WOW. Unfortunately, I think you could have had OJ on video tape cutting their throats & that jury, w/ judge Ito's help, would've let him stroll.

Roy Exum: How O.J. Got His Name
by Roy Exum
posted September 18, 2007
The chances are good you never heard of the Persian Warriors and the odds are even better that you don’t want to. The Warriors were a street gang that ran out of the Portero Hill slums in San Francisco.

There was a young kid that used to run with them the others called “Waterhead” because he was born with a disease they used to call “rickets.” As an infant, his legs were so bowed and mis-shapen that his grandmother actually took the curtain rods down each night to brace his legs while he slept.

The first time “Waterhead” ever went to jail was when he was running with the Persian Warriors. Tomorrow he’ll be arraigned again in Las Vegas. You know him as O.J. Simpson.

What do little thugs grow up to be?

He looks a little too happy in his mug shot:

This is probably closer to the look he had on his face when he burst into the room:

Yep. It increasingly looks like some sort of set up. I bet prosecution drops the charges.

Should we feel bad about prejudging OJ?
