"As soon as I hear the first left coaster say anything like, yep, I'm glad my team doesn't have to play Florida, S. Carolina, Alabama, Arkansas, etc., or yeah, USC has an walk thru of a schedule,I'll feel differently. But I don't see much of that. What I see is comments about the South having dumb asses for players & the PAC 10 being tough. " None of us have ever said we were glad USC didn't play those teams, we would love to see USC beat them just like the other over rated teams USC beats. Just because you have coaches that run up the score on other happless teams you believe they are good. No problem. If USC does go unbeaten this year and plays some over rated hillbilly team you keep ranting about, then great, then you get what you want, watching USC beat another over rated team. As far as your "dumb asses" you are calling them that, all I asked was what the percentage of graduate football players was and what the GPA requirement was for your football players. Never did get an answer from you. You seem to read like my wife, not what I say, but what you want to hear. You need to reread some of my posts that you comment about. All we can really do is wait a couple months. Go ahead with the name calling, we understand. I will love to see another West Coast against someone else matchup. It always was with the Rose Bowl until the pettyness got into it. Pac Ten against the Big Ten was just fine. Always West Coast against the East. Isn't this fun now? |
I remember when I was a kid, my folks planned all the festivities on New Years around the Rose bowl. It wasn't the schit. Now I understand why. Polish up/get the goodies ready before half, eat during half time, and nap after chowing. Sometimes things never change.:o
I now also understand why USC starts near or at the top of the rankings. So they can only fall so far. Start #1, run the tables in the PAC, let the schedule run it's course, see the better teams/conferences pass em by, and wind up #2-5. The only thing good thing USC has going at this point is a possibility, that being OU struggling against NEB or LSU against Ark. I'm sure OU would be more than happy to meet any team, in N.O. |
CONFERENCE PLAY sucks
top teams should play other top teams ONLY other then tenn VS California and Fla State the SEC plays a bunch of NOBODYS with only Virginia Tech on LSU's list and no hopers like Middle Tennessee, Tulane and Louisiana Tech WHAT A BAD JOKE FOR A TOP RANKED TEAM!!!!!!!!!!!! like Fla playing Western Ky, 49-3 and Troy, 59-31 and yet to play Fla Atlantic where is the sportsmanship in that LSU Fla tenn ect should play other top teams only like USC or ohio state why TV doesnot DEMAND contests instead of blowouts I just donot get |
Quote:
As far as you reference to name calling, maybe you consider redneck is a compliment. As far as running up the score, USC is scoring all the points they can, like every other top school. It's just that those powerhouses like Idaho are giving them all they can handle. In closing let me summarize your commentary WAAAAAAAAAAH. |
Quote:
BUT LETS GET TO THE REAL POINT! ARE YOU DUMB ENOUGH TO SAY THAT USC'S SCHEDULE IS IN THE SAME LEAGUE WITH LSU OR FLORIDA? I can't wait to hear the answer to this. |
Quote:
All I want to know about USC, which pud team will they trip over in the last month of the season?:D As for the PAC-10, other than USC, when do any of the other schools do anything? Other than get slapped around by non-conference foes? Matt, you think Arkansas will give LSU a run for their money, but they couldn't handle Arkansas? No way. As for UT and OU, won't even be a game. As you said, UT is way overrated this year, and OU is that good. I'm just glad that KSU gets UT after OU has beaten up on them.:D FL vs LSU is looking like the game of the year right now, look forward to that one. |
From the last football thread. I plan to re-paste every time someone is stupid enough to claim USC has a hard schedule.:)

'Like wow man with your superior left coast education you should at least enable you to make your stuff READABLE."
That is really good Mule. "you haven't furnished the first fact." Mule, nowhere did I pretend to have facts, I asked you a question. " As far as running up the score, USC is scoring all the points they can, like every other top school. " Mule, did you see the people PC played in the second half, he must have played everyone that was suited up. Except the first string. Not a way to run up the score. "As far as you reference to name calling, maybe you consider redneck is a compliment. " Mule, is this a sentence and what does it refer too? "Like wow man with your superior left coast education you should at least enable you to make your stuff READABLE. " And once again Mule, people that live in glass houses shouldn't throw stones. Y'all have fun, Y'hear. |

OK Knute Rockney, do you really think that USC is the ONLY team that plays reserves once the game is out of reach? Have you ever watched a game other than USC? You did ask a question. The question was phrased as if you already knew that USC athletes all graduated & all were scholars and that SEC flunked their way through & still couldn't graduate. You challenged me to prove you wrong. That type of a sucker challenge might work in your neck of the woods, after a few bong hits, but here in the South, we's payin' attenchun. |

a real schedule for a #1 team should inc ONLY top 20 teams inc teams in their CONFERENCE if CONFERENCE teams are unrated SKIP THEM and playing unranked teams out of CONFERENCE is UNSPORTSMANLIKE yes I understand rivals but I WANT TOP GAMES ON tv btw GATOR TASTES like chicken THEY DROPED MIAMI TO PLAY A extra HOME NO HOPE GAME lsu has one out of CONFERENCE game worth a chit ONE!!!!!!!!! my bwitch is droping miami by gators and ND to add a weak sister HOME GAME PLAY OFF IS THE WAY TO GO and kill the conferences too |
South Carolina is pretty beat up with injuries right now. This is LSU's first real test of the season, IMO, but I don't think South Carolina will be able to hang with LSU for a full 60 minutes.
I don't really care about #1 rankings until the end of the year. USC can have it, as long as LSU gets a shot at them at the end of the year. I don't even care if its the championship game, honestly, I just want to see LSU play USC. Its time. However, I really don't think USC can maintain a #1 ranking for more than another week with that schedule. |
Quote:
So you didn't consider a 48-7 stomping of #9 Va Tech a test? Unfortunately, as long as USC is in LA they can play that cream puff schedule & stay #1. |
Quote:
Since you quoted my post before writing this I thought you might answer my question. But I guess not. I'll try again. ARE YOU DUMB ENOUGH TO SAY THAT USC'S SCHEDULE IS IN THE SAME LEAGUE WITH LSU OR FLORIDA? |
First "real" test?
Both Miss State and for sure VT would be a legit threat in any other Conference. VT rolled in at #9 and Miss. State has proven they can play with some really good teams. |
Quote:
That being said, LSU is the best team in the nation. |
Lendaddy is wise in the ways of the cratch.

Quote:
I seriously do not believe USC can maintain a #1 ranking with their schedule unless UF, LSU, OK all drop a game within the next couple of weeks. LSU is already getting 40% of the first place votes in the AP Poll. Either way, I could care less. As a Tiger fan, all I want out of this season is to see LSU play USC. |
Quote:
in a ''normal year '' USC plays a few non-conference teams of note like ND granted this year they SUCK and Idaho a no hoper Nebraska a good team year in year out top team so thats 2 out of 3 real games fla plays 3 out of 4 no hope teams and only fla state is a good game LSU plays 3 out of 4 no hope teams too granted SEC is tuff but its outside games SUCK and they duck too many team inside the SEC too like no Alabama vs Fla or LSU vs Ga game |
