What if Spurrier's boys pull out a win?

They don't call him Steve Superior for nothing, but I think the talent differential is too great. Now if he was playing the red skirts?

I've seen Spurrier pull of some crazy wins and upsets over the years but I don't think even he has a hope against the Tigers. I'm a huge Gator fan (my sister got her BS from there and just started Vet School there) but I think the Tigers are NAAAAAAAASSSSSTTTTY this year. I think the best game of the year will be when the Tigers play the Gators. Well for me the best game was when ASU beat Michigan week one but that is where I went so...

The worst game of the year will be when USC rolls into South Bend and rewrites the record book. I like the golden domers and college football is better when they're competitive so I hate to see a once great program play this horribly.

BTW, i work in Lake Charles, but live in TX so I have to put up with a lot of Tiger honks. But I have to say, LSU has great team this year.

USC isn't practicing at all because they don't play anyone this year ;)

It's about time LSU played a "real" game...Give me a break, have you seen their schedule?

Can't blame 'em.

If USC played anyone I wouldn't have a problem with them taking the #1 slot, but they don't. A unbeaten record against a weak schedule doesn't say much. Now an undefeated record against a tough schedule or even a one loss record with a tough schedule says a lot more. At least to me, but I don't have a ballot so what do I know.

I just heard, PAC 10 powerhouse UCLA bit the big one against unranked 0-2 buzzsaw, Utah. The Bruins put up a hell of a fight. It was a nail biter right to the end but Utah pulled it out at the last second, 44-6.

What's next, breaking fake folding chairs across each other's back? sorry, I don't do professional wrestling.

USC will probably cruise through their season undefeated, and some folks will cry the whole time that they didn't face hard enough competition.
Know what? It doesn't matter because if they make it to the BCS championship they will play a team that is good and is tough.
That is when we will find out. If USC gets beat up badly, then you were right. If USC beats their a$$, I will be all over you like stink on *****. Until then, how about we enjoy the games and try to be civil?

As soon as I hear the first left coaster say anything like, yep, I'm glad my team doesn't have to play Florida, S. Carolina, Alabama, Arkansas, etc., or yeah, USC has an walk thru of a schedule,I'll feel differently. But I don't see much of that. Like when they played a lame Michigan squad w/ 3 losses & were proclaimed "co" national champs? Like when undefeated Auburn was left out of the mix to cut USC a skid?

I'm havin' fun. Lighten up & you might too. Remember, you thought I overreacted when you said the city I grew up in should be plowed under. It's all good.

My crystal ball says Arkansas gives the Tigers of LSU a run for their money. McFadden is that good. Just to guess, I say he puts up 120 yards, on what is, no doubt the best defense in college football, maybe even all time. OU vs. ?? in the Sugar for the title.

OU is that good, look for a whoopin' over overrated Texas in two weeks, and a sweep of the conference. They aren't worried about the shake down that gets them to N.O. Whoever else is in the running to get there, should be.
