Enuf screw-ups posts

Man, I'm tired of reading of the latest screw-ups of the celebrity set. So in the interest of good news, I submit the following:

Jacoby Ellsbury, outfielder for the Boston Red Sox is the American League's September rookie of the month.

"The former Oregon State outfielder hit .361 (35 for 97) with three home runs and 17 RBIs in 26 games for Boston in September." -Oregonian sports pages, 2 October 2007

Not bad for a kid from the podunk town of Madras, Oregon. Not bad at all!

Keep your eyes open for him when Boston plays the Angels tomorrow. I hope he has a chance to do a bit of base running. He should be easy to spot...he's the fastest base runner on the Boston team.

I heard he just got indicted on indecency charges. Something about showing Beavers in public.

Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim". They should be disqualified from the postseason just on sheer stupidity of name. It's like they can't figure out where they belong.

The angels play about 3 or 4 miles from my house and I hope they get swept. otherwise I'll have to deal with all the traffic from people going to and from the games. Do you know how much hassle that will be from the playoffs all the way to the world series, and then there's the winner's parades afterwards? too much. let some other town have it this year.
Boston hasn't seen any good riots lately, it's their turn.

You have my total sympathy. Man, I'm glad to live on a dead end rural road!
I listen to the Portland freeway traffic report jam-ups on the radio...as I watch Gary H*** go by on his John Deer, with nothing else driving in front of my home for at least 10 minutes. I wouldn't move to Portland, Oregon for a salary of a million per...it's a mess up there.

So...for your sake Sammy...Go Red Sox!
