Honestly, I can't really tell the different between real and fake nowaday. Some fake are really good. One of the store we visit and found one she likes, price is very high, most of their high end glasses squeaks bad when I open them up or close them. Base on my past experience, all my real glasses (reading glasses) never squeak. Only my $10 swap meet glasses do. We walked away for both reasons.

No, I don't take it the wrong way. I know you guys were just having fun and I have no problem. Most people here know english is not my native language and I have no problem with that. I am still trying to improve myself all the time. As long as people can understand what I am trying to say, I am happy.
Thanks guys.

I lost my last pair of $100+ sun glasses the other day. Cheap knock offs are in my future.

You're english is better than most; I wouldn't have known? I thought it was just a 'typo'. Anyway, it was funny ........ good luck with your wifes expensive taste in sun glasses.

Lynn wears a pair of those Maui Jim's; She bought them in Vegas and she cares for them very well, always puts them in the case and just loves them. I wear a pair of perscription Bolés. I also have a few pairs of knock-off sunglasses that I keep in the boat, car, cabin, etc; all prescription too.

David,
Talking about lost of sun glasses, I lost my CK clip-on 3 times (over $100+ each). No more sun glasses for me... for now... maybe after lasik

Rob,
Thanks.
To me, when it come to glasses, I either get $10 bucks pair and leave them anywhere I needed to, or a "real" brand if I have to pay over $100 bucks. I always have the feeling those make-up or clothing brand are using cheaper brands and slap their name on them. I told my wife about this but she just have the feel for Chanel even those if I am right. I am ok with that. I think it's just like how I like my Porsche even though it is loud, harsher, oil/gas smell, engine in the wrong end, key in the wrong place, no room in the rear seat area, and specially ordering oil from the internet. Maybe we will have to order tires and gas through the internet in the future too, don't want to think about it

Where at in So Cal? if you're in the San Diego area, the Viejas Outlet has a few places in it to buy sunglasses at good prices.

I was sitting on the back of my boat one summer day; snapping pictures of the kids doing stunts on the wakeboard. I had my $500 custom made prescription sun glasses perched on my head while my eye was up to the camera.

In a split second the wakeboard rope brushed my head and the glasses were "plunk" into the lake; I handed the camera to my daughter and dove in after them; everyone in the boat was WTF?, no luck. Gone. I'm still grieving that day

Cheers!!

years ago, I did the same for... a quarter because friends bet me. I finally got it up when it already on the bottom. Result was "wow you are good" and couldn't hear anything + ears and headche for the rest of the day.

Call me an Oakley snob. Best protection against impact (exceeds the ANSI spec.) and light. My eyes are worth it. I keep multiple pairs, to include ballistic goggles for quick replacement.

There is a noticeable difference in eye strain after a long time viewing. What are your eyes worth.
