Do we simply sit on the sidelines and hope?
Do we admit that "democracy...freedom" is worth getting Americans killed in Iraq but not in Pakistan?

Long, long ago a friend of mine had an AJS that was rumored to have raced at the Isle of Mann in the 1930's. Nice old bike.

However, my favorite year at the Isle of Mann was the TT race in 1969. A Triumph won it and I think that they placed about a half dozen in the top 10. Maybe I like that year so much since I have a 1969 Triumph Bonneville T120R...that has 5,341 miles on it!

This is the sentiment that I was talking about about in another Thread about Americans disconnect from reality. This type of thinking suggests that America lives in a vacume in which nothing that happens in the rest of the world can effect Americans at home.

However if oil goes to $200 a barrel Hugh won't have to drive to work anymore, because he will be out of a j..o..b.

Who gives a rats behind about "freedom" or "democracy" in Iraq or Pakistan. I am a little more concerned about the survival of Western Civilization. When the history of this age is written, it will say that 19 martyrs brought down the American Empire and brought back the reign of Gods Law.

Pakistan concerns India enough now. A Fundementalist, actively anti-Western Pakistan (with Nukes) would terrify India.

Let managing Pakistan be India's responsibility, just as managing the failing states of micronesia is ours (ie, Australia's).


The problem is should the Indian military actually stop an armed suicide bomber without giving him Miranda, legal representation, couselling and a big warm hug, the liberals amongst us will be screaming human rights violation and demand we withdrawl support to India.

I also think the U.S. needs to take a harder stance with "Mushy-arrif" and tell him in no uncertain terms that either he gets serious about reining in A.Q. and cracking down on these "tribal regions" or we'll do it for him. Pull our guys out of I-wreck where they're ultimately on a fool's errand and let them do something meaningful that really has some purpose to it as part of a "global war on terror". Send a message to the extremists that if they f*ck with the U.S. they'll get 50,000 pissed-off Marines kicking their door in and dragging them out by their nuts, not that we'll let them get away and go fight some illegitimate war in a non-related country for our own imperialist ends.

Not quite. I put that number at closer to 40 or 50 million. As in 40 or 50 million bleeding hearts liberal cowards who would rather risk becoming a victim than risk offending their enemies.
Their weakness is eroding our civilitation and opening the doors for our enemies. then when it's all over, if there are any of them left alive they will have a look of surprize on their faces and say "what happened?" Their grasp on reality is so weak they will not even realize they were the cause. So to the 19 potential martyrs if your listening, be patient. Soon enough the weakness that is growing here will hand this country over to you without a fight.
