LOL it's easy to tell the story when it turns out OK, but the ones where it didn't are a different story.
Like that darned epoxy coating on the inside of all my pipes they sold me in October 2006. That didn't work out so well. Sprung another leak 14 months later.
I should have just had every pipe in the house re-routed the first time.

It's all fixed now and didn't cost me much but what a hassle.

I'm just in the habit of saying: "and what does that cost?"

And then I weigh the answer against the expediency of the situation and the relative difficulty of doing it myself/calling another contractor.
